Define a huge amount of LEDs. You can get WS2812Bs in strips of 5 meters at a density of 144/meter.

You can leave it as a strip or make matrices from them.

Other business laptops are also welcome in /tpg/ (e.g. Dell Latitude/Precision, HP EliteBook/ZBook).
----
If you're looking for purchase advice, READ THE BUYERS GUIDE FIRST. Then post, stating budget and requirements (e.g. size and performance).
Don't buy anything OTHER THAN T, X AND W/P SERIES if you want the Real ThinkPad Experience™

Recommended models:
T420 - 14", normal size
X220 - 12.5", ultraportable
----
Why ThinkPad? (also applies to other business laptops)
>Used machines are plentiful and cheap.
>Excellent keyboards - tactile feel and quiet.
>Great durability: chassis uses a magnesium rollcage for structural integrity, with high quality plastic body panels.
>Utilitarian design: e.g. indicator LEDs, 7 row keyboard layout on older models.
>Docking stations that easily turns your laptop into a desktop.
>Easy to repair, upgrade and maintain thanks to readily available service manuals for every model. Spare parts are easy and cheap to obtain.
>The best trackpoint (that red thing in the middle of the keyboard). Great for those who type a lot or hate swiping their fingers all over a touchpad.
>Excellent GNU/Linux & *BSD support.

Petition to make /g Great Again.
Start with turning the spambots favorite phrases into other words:
Laptop= dickbot
that's about all i have, still need alternate words for:
>linucks, linux, systemd, every distro or OS, osx fags and winfags included
>nvidia, AMD, Intel, and any new ultra hyped faggotry gets renamed, ie ryzen, zen, memelake, gpu of the month etc
any other favorite spambot words that need out? POST em.

point of this is to make this site about technology and the discussion of it. not about faggot advertisers using this place for free advertising and propaganda. nor for pedo sacks of shit to rampantly shitpost their sick fantasies through desktop threads

tl;dr why wont gook moot make advertisers pay for their advertisements? you can easily screen words and alter their posts automatically, so it seems to me like 4chan is just losing potential revenue while killing off its userbase as this place is filled with spambots and retards who think their shitposts will actually make some moron waste their money on their shit product, look at how it's only a couple lincucks spamming this rampant faggotry non stop..

thread #2
they're allowed to spam shit, they don't even wait for their thread to die before doing, so why not do the same. just look at that fucking catalog

useless cuck mods

OK now

I have never had decent income and, but recently I landed an amazing job with great pay.

So I went on a spending spree and impulsively bought myself an iPhone 7+ with 256 gb of space.

WHAT THE FUCK DO PEOPLE KEEP ON THEIR PHONES?

like seriously, I filled 30 gb and I suspect that 200+ will be empty forever.

Any advice on how to utilize that space?

I used up 30 gb and I have no idea what to do with the rest.

ffs man. Learn how to be financially responsible. Im not saying you can't afford "impulse" purchases right now and it feels good to reward yourself but you sohuld be worried about those kind of expenses because they can lead you to the mordor of no money in no time. This is exactly the type of behavior that keeps a nigga broke and doesnt let him win. Hope you make it out of the hood forever tho!!!!!!

Why do you guys care so much about the perpetual flamewar between Intel and AMD? Why do you needlessly concern yourselves with proving a faceless "enemy" wrong, even though you have literally (and I mean literally) nothing to gain from it?

Neither AMD nor Intel will thank you for your efforts. Neither AMD nor Intel will change their strategies and products based on your idle banter.

Why can't you just use whatever CPU is the best performance for your budget? Or if you have other constraints (like being gifted an AM4 motherboard or something), why not just use the CPU you are in a position to use? Why does it always have to be a dick measuring contest? Why do you care so fucking much about a company that literally could not care less about your existence?

The reason nobody wants to talk about is because nobody gives a fuck about a chip 1% as fast as a knights landing xeon phi and a 1000W power consumption.

ARM for servers is a fucking joke.
