i must ask, why has your computer been on for 78 days?
So /g/ tell me what Android tablet to buy in the coming months.
Must have specs:
>size: 7", 8" may be acceptable too but not preferred
>should support 4G & be available in Europe
>should support some neat ROM or whatever those custom androids are called, so it should be a popular model (?)
>it is nice if it has a camera that is somewhat usable
>everything else that I desire probably exists on every half-decent tablet out there
(Also: 3G instead of 4G may be acceptable if the tablet is old/cheap, but only if nothing decent and well-priced exists in the 4G area)
Nexus 7, Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 (when it is released), Galaxy Tab S2, Asus Fonepad 7

Anyone knows anything about this chink DSA set?

Doesn't seem that expensive, and not that thin.
First Firefox, and now this.
WTF. Windows is SJW now.
Is this shit real
Fuck that. This is why I use Windows 10 LTSB. Completely void of all that bullshit
This is why I use Chrome and Linux, none of that CIA-backdoored SJW bullshit

Is there any way to change the icons in the appdrawer of android phones?
I rooted my g4 a while ago and want to customize it so I'm thinking of making a custom set of icons.
Only problem is I haven't found a way to actually replace the Icons yet.
Best I can do is make shortcuts on my homescreen which I frankly don't give a flying fuck about.
>>59384648
custom launcher, nova is the most recommended.
>>59384648
Use Nova launcher or something comparable (lightning launcher is okay, but fuck it's TOO customizable). Then get a custom icon pack, go to Look and Feel, set icon pack and gtg.

If you would like to try out GNU/Linux you can do one of the following:
0) Install a GNU/Linux distribution of your choice in a Virtual Machine.
1) Use a live image and to boot directly into the GNU/Linux distribution without installing anything.
2) Dual boot the GNU/Linux distribution of your choice along with Windows or macOS.
3) Go balls deep and replace everything with GNU/Linux.

First for Slackware.
I am tired of the Arch/Arch-based distro meme. I mean, I love AUR and wiki, but fk me if Arch isn't stupid for those using a low-bandwidth connection. Moving on to Fedora/*ubuntu or will be trying OpenSUSE.
Hi,
I installed Ubuntu on my SSD alongside Windows, and I have another HDD for personal files and stuff which is in NTFS format
Is there a way to automatically mount the HDD when I boot into Ubuntu so that programs like qbittorrent that rely on the files on the HDD don't require me to enter the path to individual files every time I restart/mount the drive anew?

If you're looking for purchase advice, READ THE BUYERS GUIDE FIRST. Then post, stating budget and requirements (e.g. size and performance).
Don't buy anything OTHER THAN T, X AND W/P SERIES if you want the Real ThinkPad Experience™
Recommended models:
T420 - 14", normal size
X220 - 12.5", ultraportable
----
Why ThinkPad? (also applies to other business laptops)
>Used machines are plentiful and cheap.
>Excellent keyboards - tactile feel and quiet.
>Great durability: chassis uses a magnesium rollcage for structural integrity, with high quality plastic body panels.
>Utilitarian design: e.g. indicator LEDs, 7 row keyboard layout on older models.
>Docking stations that easily turns your laptop into a desktop.
>Easy to repair, upgrade and maintain thanks to readily available service manuals for every model. Spare parts are easy and cheap to obtain.
>The best trackpoint (that red thing in the middle of the keyboard). Great for those who type a lot or hate swiping their fingers all over a touchpad.
>Excellent GNU/Linux & *BSD support.
