How do Apple continue to get away with Jewing their fanbase like this?
Higher prices and stripped features with every new iteration.
I don't understand how they still have such a high market share of laptops and smartphones. Is it a cult?
>>59454428
Apple devices are useful for nothing more than browsing Facebook/Twitter and taking grainy photographs of one's genitals. This is what the average person uses computers for. Technology has not made us any smarter or better. Humans are still the same idiots they've always been. Apple knows this. Apple knows that all you need is WLAN/cellular hardware, a mediocre display/camera, and a sleek design to fit every computing need of the average selfie taking, nude posting, mouth breathing retard. We call Apple products iToys for a reason.
>>59454510
But you can achieve all of that on a Windows laptop for far less money. And if it's looks you want, the Dell XPS series of laptops is really nice
>>59454574
It's a toy. Nobody cares that these machines have the same Intel hardware for double the price. They just see the Apple logo on the back and run after it.
Welcome to the real world.
So I stopped posting here a few years ago when the amount of pedophiles was off the chart. There were literally debates defending Stallman wanting to fuck kids and dead people.

>>59454491
I'd just like to interject for moment. What you're refering to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.
Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU which is widely used today is often called Linux, and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project.
There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use. Linux is the kernel: the program in the system that allocates the machine's resources to the other programs that you run. The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called Linux distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux!
The official Raspberry Pi magazine just announced that over 12.5 million of the affordable little Linux boards have been sold since the original Pi was launched in 2012. As The MagPi points out, this puts the Raspberry Pi past Commodore 64 sales, according to some estimates. That would make the Pi the third best-selling "general purpose computer" ever, behind Apple Macintosh and Microsoft Windows PCs. As commenters have pointed out, this isn't a precisely fair comparison, because there were other Commodore models than just the 64, but it's still a nice milestone all the same.

you don't sell 12.5 million boards in 5 years without them being 'of use'
you are referring to your retarded self

Why do people like to force their opinions on everyone else? Like Mac fags should kill literally themselves or only children only literally play video games
>>59454212
Personally, I like to argue with people.
Because I want to help them see the error in their ways.

Maybe we want to hate on each other? Stop complaining that you don't like doing what we like, and go kill yourself.
I got a Headless Raspberry Pi setup running Debian, connected to a fairly slow internet hotspot.
Set up at the moment is: NoMachine and Hamachi setup so I can access my Pi over the internet, It works but its quite slow and has a huge delay. Think it could be mainly Hamachi (400-600ms Ping) and since its running fairly fast in the local network.
TightVNC sucks, NoMachine is fairly fast.
Is there any better setup? I have no access to the router (yet).
Any advice?
Why are you wanting to VNC? Why not just connect through SSH?
>>59454903
For terminal stuff SSH is ok. But I want to use the GUI/Desktop.
>>59455024
Did you know that you can forward X11 over SSH?

Why is Windows 10 so broken? I've reluctantly used it since it's launch and now it's decided to shit the bed.
>worked around Cortana and the countless security conerns
>took control of files as much as I could
>kept everything pristine
But now,
>registry editor has magically become broken
>search indexing doesn't work and the troubleshooting doesn't help for shit
>constantly on thin ice with installing anything
>customization has broken and remains piss poor
>have to swap to the administrator user to do anything
How do I escape Windows 10, /g/? I want to keep my compatibility but I also despise the amount of trouble that this OS gives me.
Use Windows 8.1

144 Hz TN or 60 Hz IPS?
In all honesty a 60 Hz monitor is good enough for like 90% of people. Anything after that is pretty much placebo. Our brains simply make everything blurry past a certain number of consecutive pictures shown in a second.
>>59453776
60Hz IPS, VA or OLED
>>59453776
TN vs IPS, the answer is always IPS.
It's as if you're asking "do you prefer a shitty lightbulb that flickers at 144Hz, or an actual screen?"
I have a conspiracy for you /g/, what if newegg uses the components to mine cryptocurrency and then repackages them, think about it, a lot of reviews say their stuff was DOA or stopped working soon after
Oh man you figured it out, they're taking in an extra 1k a month by doing this
>>59453654
1k without any other problems, they blame the non working stuff on the component makers and then just RMA it with em
You're actually retarded think about the logistics of this.
