Did Apple win /g/?
No, everyone already realized they're useless besides looking at porn
It's more like big phones took over. Apple lost because it took them half a decade to make a big phone
I honestly love my iPad but it's just a media player to be quite honest. Also I'm on my phone and desktop most of the time either shit posting or playing vidya.

Is Wire literally /ourIM/?
>End to end encryption enabled by default
>Client is FOSS, server code will be FOSS as well in a few months' time
>E2E encryption supported even in group chats and group calls, the only IM app currently able to do this
>chat history sync across different devices
>can sign up without using your phone number
>can address other people without using their phone number or e-mail address as identity
>not run by Moxie Marlinspike, ego-tripping faggot with a Christ complex
>beautiful aesthetics that even normies like
Seriously why aren't you using Wire yet?

what's the distinction between CS and software engineering?
>>59521246
Replying to this thread is a pretty good one.
CS guys can into math.. SE guys can't.
>>59521246
CS courses have more maths so I I'm going for software engineering because the maths hurt my head
What are you working on, /g/?

Don't create duplicate threads, even if the other OP is retarded.
Delete this shit.

It's up to users to support or not support retardation.
Does this device have /g/'s blessing?
https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/gemini-pda-android-linux-keyboard-mobile-device-phone#/
I'm considering throwing some money down on one and I'm wondering if anyone here has also looked into it.
Pro's:
- Aesthetically pleasing for a PDA
- Dual boot Android and Linux
- "World's smallest keyboard(mechanical)"
- Multi-touch screen
Con's:
- Indiegogo
- No working model yet
- ARM
>>59521212
Who cares what people here think, buy it if you want. I would wait until actual reviews.

That's a pretty huge con.

Are tablets over?
No, but I wish they were
>>59521115
Only Android tablets, iOS just keeps getting better and better.
People would argue that they're the future and "large computers" are obsolete in 5 years.
Do you guys think there is a single person who looks like this who knows x86 assembly?
Seems like you don't know how to install fonts correctly fag.
>>59521145
I haven't noticed lack of functionality on any of the websites I actually frequent. So I haven't attempted to install any additional fonts on top of the ones that come with my distro.
Doesn't really matter to my if some bullshit overdeveloped webpage cannot display their garbage to me in the intended manner.
I got the PDF I was looking for
what if there was

Face it, if you're meming about laptop size, you don't actually need a computer, you just need to sit down in a little corner with your consumer technology like the retard you are.
Do you guys use host files to block ads or any other things?

Need to setup a raspberry pi to do host file based blocking for my tablet.

The BU state-funded trojan horse theory is looking more and more real now
Nodes going timber as we speak
Overall consensus: bullish, assuming miners don't go throught with the HF. In any case, BUcoins will get quickly dumped for BTC.
Does this happen with Intel and Nvidia as well or is this another AMD-related issue?

Good god that drop.
If you take it frame by frame you can see the part where the B:U hosts pull the ethernet cables.
Anyone running a hackintosh machine currently?
I'm totally sick of Windows 10. I'm running GNU/Linux on my chromebook and my desktop but I still need a computer for doing music prod with ableton and cbf fussing around with Wine or anything like that.
I don't want to fork out for a macbook so I was thinking of grabbing a thinkpad x220 or similar and installing Mac OS.
Any tips from those more experienced in these ways than myself?
Also hackintosh general.
hackintosh is a meme from 2009
