Are applels this fucking dumb?
>what is 4G
4G ≠ Wi-Fi.
Isn't 4G just 3G but renamed? I remember hearing that there's no difference and they got in hot water for trying to market it as "better".
>>59551340
There's a hundred of networks called 4G, the one we use in most IOT devices today is LTE. I think, but don't quote me on this, the rest have been retroactively rebranded as 3.5G or something like that.
>>59551340
In the US, yes. In the rest of the world less so. 4G LTE is the 'real' 4G.
>>59551381
Basically, due to the US being unable to sort its shit when it comes to telcos, they can legally market what are considered to be '3.5G' technologies as being '4G'.
Is anyone else getting malware popups from yahoo mail?
I wanna download this to check it out but it seems that "I chose to run" the thing instead of simply download it.
you should run that javascript, Windows 7 is a very secure operating system and everything will be okay
>>59551316
Run it in a VM, go nuts

Anybody have the TPLINK Archer C7? Do you run DD-WRT/OpenWRT? If so, which one and why? I currently run DD-WRT but I have never had a chance to use OpenWRT on anything that could actually install more than a few packages, so I was unable to really get a feel for the possibilities.
DD is solid so far, but I'd be interested to hear what other users think.
>>59551001
Honestly if DDWRT works for you, that's a great option. OpenWRT is a lot more work but you have variety in packages and things to customize it. Of course you're still limited by your hardware so not everything is available on every router anyway.

You would think if it was a "meritocracy" they would take anyone willing to work for the job training alone, because they're certainly not paying you to be their coffee bitch.

Do LEDs effect hardware performance?
>>59550727
LEDs generate a small amount of heat (which could throttle performance sooner) and draw more power (which could directly affect performance). Both cases are probably negligible differences though. Move along.
yes classical interfetterance confabulates the signals.
not even dr.elon tesla can figure it out
ps. dang captcha even filtering humans now
Yes. The light particles knock bits out the cpu registers on each cycle, making you lose speed.
Liquid cooling helps this, as the water absorbs some of the rays.

Linux finally has professional video editing software. DaVinci Resolve was ported to Linux this month
https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/media/release/20170302-03
>>59550630
Nice
Designers aren't going to use Linux because it's too hard and they're not the type of people who like dealing with small technical details, they're literally always going to be in the Apple ecosystem because 'it just works' is a hard requirement for that crowd
These are the people who buy Mac Pros, anon
>>59550647
I could see lots of small time youtubers and streamers using this. Mostly because they may not be able to afford super expensive rigs, and I've found linux is better at handling large video files (recordings can be around 1gb/min depending on quality and such) than windows generally.
The question is, is it actually fully ported over and does it actually offer enough polish to be used professionally. If someone is depending on it for a paycheque, it can't be locking up, crashing, or anything like that
