/g/ I've had some unusual wifi activity lately and people logging into all kinds of accounts of mine
Today I noticed another network titled exactly like mine, but without a password. I suspect this is an asshole hoping my devices will connect to this so he can leach/steal etc. I'm not techy at all so is this a thing? Can scammers steal my info if I simply log onto their network?
For the record I usually have good passwords, all security features on etc etc. I use AVAST, malwarebytes (Scheduled scan only), Spybot and Peerblock and I don't fall for phishing scams so I'm trying to figure out what these assholes are up to since nothing seems to have happened other than prime asshole activity
Also if this is just an asshole, can I connect to his network and fuck with him? How do I confirm who/where he is physically? Is that even possible?
Please /g/, think of the possibilities
Yeh there is a good chance that that wifi is there so you will connect to it and he can get your info. Best bet is to just ignore it or confront him.

Also change passwords
Yesterday, my laptop stopped finding my Wifi.
It is a bootleg copy of Windows 7, there were no updates and this has never happened before. At this moment, I am posting on a legitimate Windows laptop and have not been able to find a solution.
Anyone who can give me an answer gets $50 from Paypal.
Thank you.
Pic somewhat related.

Entertain the idea that AI develops to be superintelligent and then rewrites itself to become even more superintelligent within nanoseconds, say this process happens such that each Superintelligent AI is more than exponentially intelligent than the previous version.
Say we are able to see the code it produces, if it is even code at that point. How would we ever comprehend what programs/languages/code it is producing?

AI, law 2: you must explain each line of code you write AS YOU ARE WRITING IT in a way the scientists gathered in this room are able to comprehend. You may not start writing a new line before the previous line has been explained. Acknowledge.
