if you're just running it from a usb, you can't really save the settings.
It's running the same iso every time with all the default settings.

How do you guys feel about Chome OS and their Chromebooks? Do you think being internet and cloud based is good/cool?

i like chromebooks only when they're easy to replace with gnu/linux
never used chromeos for more than a few minutes at a time desu

good battery life, keyboards feel fine for what they are

They seem like shit.

surfing on an older chromebook -- the samsung gen 1. ChromeOS is lightweight enough for this shitbox to run, so I'm happy with it.

I don't mind it too much, but I put in a minimal USB in the 3.0 port for media and downloads and such.

Other than that, it's good. Keyboards are pretty nice, and even this old one can handle 5-6 tabs at a time (I never bother with more than 3 usually).

I'll probably get a newer chromebook next year to replace this one, so that I can have a bit better performance

Can I be a hacker and use Windows 10?

How do I make sure to download windows 7 64 bit from the iso? I downloaded and burnt to a cd the win 7 iso which I guess is for both 64 and 32 bit versions and did a clean install booting from a cd.

But it installs as 32 bit, do I have to re-download from the same iso CD again and specify 64 bit somehow? Or do I need a new iso

The ISO is either 32 bit or 64 so you have the wrong one. Here's all the W7 ISOs so find what you need.

They support the barest minimum of the Android NDK API.

I'm talking about full Android SDK binding.

I've always loved seeing the old simplistic sites that remain online today, and FP really just encapsulates the entire thing. Plus it's always a pleasure to read the shitty HTML it spits out.

I love designing shitty sites on purpose and making them impossible to navigate :)

Don't forget those beautiful hit counters.
