/g/ I really need your help.

I was trying to upgrade my ThinkPad W520's CPU and when I was dusting the components some of the liquid from my can of compressed air shot into the CPU socket.

Is the ThinkPad fucked? When I try power it on (with and without a CPU) the power light blinks briefly and then nothing. Plz halp.

Im a complete noob when it comes to PC building as i have never built one in my life and have only had one desktop which was virus ridden e-machines 10 years ago, so ive decided to go on pc part picker and put this crapshow together, i just wanted the harsh feedback of 4chan to truthfully let me know if this is a pathetic build i shouldnt bother with or if i should go ahead with it.

I should also note that im also on a budget of around $600-$700

If Windows is closed source, then how are people able to customize, theme and modify it so much?

I know this is probably a dumb question but I need to ask it.

I just bought new PC parts. I was installing the CPU, and CPU cooler whenever I thought I put it on upside down so I reseated it.

I never turned on the PC at all, and I'm just kind of wondering if I should reapply paste or if it'll be fine since I never turned it on after doing this, any help would be appreciated.

Can someone help this technology noob, so i used to use a iphone 6 but then i switch to the galaxy S7 optus (AUS) contract with vodaphone sim and i run a business and i can not acceses my voicemail messages and no mater what i cant see them, please help this poor old man.
I would post this on /sqt/ but a whole businesses is in jeporday by just not seeing voicemails
