Hi, I'm sorry to use the wrong board for this. My Windows 10 partition is acting up in spooky ways (posting from Fedora). The webcam isn't on but I can clearly hear someone in a sort of voice/video chat with me, I was wanking it the other day and the guy said "Oh yeah keep going". What could I run to check if this is malware or just an ad running in the background?
Run literally any modern anti-malware tool, but you're probably just experiencing the first stages of schizophrenia desu
>>59697786
>but you're probably just experiencing the first stages of schizophrenia desu
This.
Have you felt disconnected from the world lately OP? Have you started hearing a high pitched sound suddenly? Those may be signs that you're completely losing it.
>>59697789
>off by one
>>59697786
I really think its starting to be the latter. I'll grab myself Malware Antibytes for a quick scan. Will report back
does knowing this make you a god at software development or what?
>>59697681
It's only of historical interest.
think of lambda calculus as pseudo code
except you need to define literally everything yourself before you can use it
it's machine pseudo code written in algebraic notation
it's a meme
>>59697681
Lambda Calculus is a world in which logic, programming, and mathematics are unified, in which every proof corresponds to a program, every program to a mapping, every mapping to a proof. Lambda Calculus is the central organizing principle of a theory of computation that integrates, unifies, and enriches the language of logic, programming, and mathematics. It provides a framework for discovery, as well as analysis, of computational phenomena.
Types are the specifications (theorems) of a program, and the rest of the code is the proof the theorem is correct via induction. Yes it will make you a 'better programmer'
I was going to post more to this but HitlerHiroMoot thinks gists on github are 'spam'
Was eight chan actually hacked or is it just April fools?
Apparently my post is spam so "reformatting"
>>59697651
Why does it matter? It's not like we can shitpost there anyways since it's down. Maybe they were hacked as an April fools joke.
Now stop making these shit threads. We've had like 4 of them and at this point it is spam.
>>59697702
Really, never saw them, just saw that it's down and wondered was all

Unity is fine if you watch anime and spend the rest of your time in a browser. It's so limited and uncustomizable that I can't imagine anyone doing serious work using it though.

have you tried unity 8?

Which is better and why?
Iridium
Chrome because it's a lot snappier and doesn't have regular visual lag, thus making it more aesthetic.
>>59697249
Nope. Iridium can't run rabb.it
The answer is ungoogled-chromium

10 billion programming languages? Fuck that!
There should only be a maximum of 5 programming languages, that between them fill all programming needs.
Choose those 5.
