>Go to law firm
>You: I taught myself law online
>Firm: fuck off
>Go to a construction firm
>You: I taught myself structural engineering online
>Firm: fuck off
>Go to a hospital
>You: I taught myself medicine online
>Hospital: fuck off
>Go to software company
>You: I taught myself programming online
>Software company: You get the job!
Programmers are the only ones who keep going around claiming how "anyone can program" and they want more people to do their job so they can lower their own salaries or will put themselves out of a job and end up homeless... and they're only ones advocating that you work for free!
What kind of a retarded mindfuck is this?!

>Go to law firm
>Can't prove you are adept at law in 30 minutes reliably
>If you fail at your job people got to jail or pay lots of money
>Go to construction firm
>Can't prove you're adept at engineering physics in 30 minutes
>Shit falls down on someone's head if you fuck up and someone has to take responsibility for hiring a complete idiot
>Go to hospital
>See previous points
>Go to software company
>Here you can look up stuff I made instead of looking at my diploma from a reliable university
>Usually you are just working on some commercial vanity/comfort "products"

>>59753272
Shit analogy because construction workers are often self taught, but if it's a union job you need to be unionized
Also lawyers have a bar exam
Are you going to fall for the Optane™ meme?
Since I have samsung SSDs and don't transfer data in large enough sizes, no.
They made it compatible with only high end CPUs no? Turns out that's probably not the usergroup this would be most exciting for since they probably already have pretty dope storage in the form of ssd or nvme. I mean who buys a i7 and installs OS on a mechanical drive.
>>59753058
>only works on core i series 7th gen CPUs
>only in 16 and 32 GB capacities
>slower than an SSD
this tech is shit for consumers, it's made for datacenters
I stumbled upon something, because the german army wants to establish a so-called "cyber-armee", so they try to recruit people similar to US agencys and big IT companys.
They have set up a bin-file you can download and provide sha1 and md5 to check them.
what the further steps are can be read if you figure out what to do with the bin-file.
Anyone up for this? I'm not interested in working for them but I'm trying my luck.

Yes. Only if you fuck around with chinky third party charger. No.
Did anybody back up the comfy tech review videos about the BM-800? Can you re-upload them? Those were legitimately useful. RIP btw.
Xiaomi and Oukitel are good brands? Their products explode? They are water proof?
Hey /g/, what are some cute little laptops that you can buy for cheap on eBay? Like this little Sylvania for example.
I just love little netbooks like this, they're so tiny and useless into today's modern world but they're perfect for cuddling up next to to watch Chinese cartoons on!
Yup sure are, useless products for useless individuals.

I dunno being a little into tech can be quite nice. Knowing how to set up Kodi for myself, helping friends get the most out of their computers and phones, etc. Treating it like a hobby or, worse, getting obsessed with consumerism is what sucks though.
