Oy vey, what's inside that directory?
>>

This is in regards to the "Sunshine" IP-logging system, which respected the users of 8ch's privacy.

Basically, it took a post, collected the IP of the user who made the post, padded it up with random data, encrypted it, and put it into a database. It is now disabled.

There was only one person alive who had the decryption key (hotwheels) which was on his (very secure) laptop. That decryption key has been destroyed now, so those IP addresses are now unaccessible.

As for the use of Sunshine today, it will be open-sourced, and the use of Sunshine on 8gag has been permanently removed.

Is overclocking a meme? I got a R9 290 Tri-X from Sapphire too and it's almost overclocked on its own anyway.

I seriously consider the next time I get chips (I guess deeply into 10nm or even at 5nm) to just go stock.

Maybe the only thing needed is to get quality components, though sometimes they are the same.

Overclocking is a meme now. It's all about reliability and reduced power usage. If you need more power you should try to write programs that scale out across multiple processors or multiple machines.

You have 10 seconds to state why you aren't using THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST text editor. Which by the way just released its awesome 1.11 version.

Why do you insist on clinging to dinosaurs like Vim, /g/? Embrace the comfy VSCode and don't put yourself through hardships just to make quick edits to a piece of code.

But I don't use the GNU coreutils.

What is your problem with Gnome3?

Do you fags hate everything that just works and doesn't require line by line tweaking? Does it makes you feel special?

If you want to rice you can also easily do this on gnome 3.

So what's the fucking problem you have with it other than age old grudge you hold against it like those sjwturbo niggers?

Why do you hate progress?

Be honest.

The Walking Dead film making process is pure cancer. They literally try on purpose to look shit, grainy as fuck, like old film. But, it does prove how futile it is to go high res in many cases, an especially with restored film since 99% of the time film and restored film looks identical at 720p and above.

Literally try it, get a 720p bluray source of walking dead and a 1080p, if you see a difference I'll eat my own shit.
>>
>>59765496
Games. Also resolutions like 4320p and 6480p are simple integer scaling from 1080p.

In between resolutions like 1440p and 4k are worthless though.

are power supply units the reason why cases are still so wide?

a normal person only needs a micro-atx mobo and a G4600

the depth is about flush with the IO shield yet theres so much space in cases, unless you pay almost $100 for a SFF

Graphics cards are pretty wide and need the room if the PSU connector is on the side of the card. Other than that, PSUs can be flipped and SFX is getting popular. Also the 5.25" slot is dying.
>>
>>59765276
ATX PCs are getting less and less popular.
An average person doesn't need more power than pic related. Over time they'll get cheaper...
>>
>>59765276
I went with a micro-atx case and mobo and there's just barely enough room for my gpu. There's no room to use any other pcie slots unless I want to start niggering it with risers. Also watercooling isn't an option.

Normies just use laptops for their facebook machines anyways so shifting case sizes towards them doesn't really make sense

so no one should buy a 7700k since its the same performance?

look at the clocks. this means a 7700k clocked at 4.7 should be right on par with the 2600k.

this chart makes no sense.

There has to be some game engine bottleneck.

I did hear rumors that every i7 are just using updated Sandy bridge cores.
