I know this is the Smartphone general, but do any of you have a dumb phone?
Im thinking about buying one as a backup, or for certain situations when I dont want to take my phone out and break it.
redpill me on touchwiz
>>59757672
Nokias are decent but currently there aren't any LTE dumbphones and 2g/3g is being shut down in a few years in the US.
Hated Unity to be replaced by Gnome :) :)
So it only took then 6 years to admit that their desktop was shit? Gnome 3 is worse though...

Firefox takes 10 seconds to load 5 tabs.
Firefox takes 1 minute to load 10 tabs.
Firefox locks up when rendering a page.
It doesn't use all cores because multiprocess is disabled
So when will Firefox beat Chrome?

But Firefox developers disable it by default.

Hey /g/,
I have an old build from around 4 years ago. I upgraded my graphics card to a Geforce GTX 1070 from MSI 5 months ago. I've noticed that I might also need to upgrade some other parts, such as my motherboard and CPU.
My motherboard is an Asus M5A97 R2.0 with AMD 970 chipset support.
My CPU is an AMD FX-6300 6-core, 3.5 Ghz.
I'm not sure what to upgrade first, and what's worth my money right now. What do you recommend, and what new parts are most compatible with the upgrade I plan on? My power supply is pretty much unlimited for any new parts.

Get ryzen
/thread
What are you going to use the computer for?
>>59757995
Gaming, mostly.
Okay /g/ I am learning the basics of Linux. I am currently doing it by using the KVM and SSH on a OVH server I have brought. What distro would you recommend?
>>59756865
Install gentoo

Seriously? Wtf

Hello. I am a Windows 10 fag. I've seen a lot posts about Linux here. What distro should I start with that won't kill my usability? I want it to be fully compatible with Windows apps, and to not run like a snail in honey on my HP laptop from Walmart.
Picture is unrelated.
Install Gentoo

ReaktOs

Obvious bait. If not kill your'reself in the most painful way possible
Reddit alternative I made, opinions?
Why do I need an alternative to something I don't use in the first place?
Are you gonna make a Facebook alternative next?
>>59756704

VPN newfag needs help.
So I understand this new bill signed by emperor trump doesn't change much other than ISPs no longer needing user consent to sell off data but, it finally got me on board for using a private VPN. Can some oldfag plz redpilled me on what VPN to use and how to correctly use it?
>>59755321
Any VPN is fine as long as it accepts anonymous payments with Monery and if you have a setup like
Tor -> VPN (or even better is Tor -> VPN -> Tor). However, using Tor in this manner is obviously slow.
>>59757272
*Monero
>>59755321
Go read the VPN guides on thatoneprivacysite.net and torrentfreak.
