>SJW community forcing developers and maintainers to quit resulting in it devolving to a state where it's 2 years behind Ubuntu LFS in terms of software versions and yet manages somehow to be less stable
Debian represents the absolute worst in the F(L)OSS community, and it's basically just politics wanking.
I live in a country with a pretty heavy censorship, and it translates itself through the government asking the ISP to block some domains.
So by simply using a different DNS on your computer, you can avoid the censorship and access those domains.
Up to now, I always used one of Google's DNS, which is 188.8.131.52 . It's pretty easy to remember, and I can even ask customers to type it over the phone.
But now that I have lost all trust and respect in Alphabet, I am searching for a new DNS. What is the one that you use? I need one that I can trust, and I need to be sure that the DNS won't disappear all of the sudden in a year or two, I don't want to have to change the DNS on 1 000 computers.

Why /g/ hates this distro?
>just another ubuntu distro
They got owned, and in turn served out compromised ISOs.
There are no real reasons to use this distro, even cinnamon has been ported to practically every other major distro and the 'it just works' feature it had years past is no longer as compelling.
>mfw I put linux on my PC and it isn't a meme
Is this the best mouse ever made
No...I have a perfect condition one from about 02-03, as well as a IME 3.0 from 02, in excellent condition, and while they are ergonomically great, and the sensor is very precise and "raw", if you use one for anything above say 1920x1080 (and even then that's a stretch) you will be struggling to swipe accurately and quickly enough in games (I had let a friend borrow my EC2-A, and was struggling in PUBG with one of these at 2560x1440).
For basic browsing use, they are perfectly fine, as is just about any mouse.
why do you people hate so much ubuntu? I know it's a really simple distro and arch / gentoo are so much better , but you all want linux to become the desktop OS , and ubuntu will help making this dream come true, all packages are installed , it just werks , that's why all noobs install ubuntu in the first place ; they might install gentoo, but they need to understand linux in the first place
If you people want linux to become the desktop os , you should embrace ubuntu, not hate it

I have a little sister that is obsessed with anime. I can't fully block her access anime in the internet because she is still able to access anime trough her phone because I can't block youtube app. Worse than that, I share a 50Mbit connection with her via wi-fi and I've been experiencing really low speed because of her non-stop streaming and torrenting. When I checked her shared files, there were literally gigabytes and gigabytes of these cartoons. I know anime is for girls and she likes to watch it, but enough is enough. She's even failing school so help me guys, please. Are there any methods to disable torrent, close ports and other stuff?
So far I have been trying to find anime related websites to block them trough the hosts file.
Do you know any other anime websites besides these so I can block them? This is what I have so far that I have seen in her laptop and browsing history.
You're not supposed to do this anon, anime is cool
