The EXACT same thing happens with that iso.

Chinkpads ruined everything
Because unironically, Macs just werk for the most part.
They are cheaper to run because retards in HR don't break Macs every 5 minutes therefor most of the IT helpdesk staff can be fired. It just werks.

It's a money pit. Build only what you need for doing work and play as much as it can handle on the side. Good enough.
Mechanical keyboards. Honestly after using them for a long ass time then recently trying a membrane there's not enough of a difference to warrant the price of them. It's a keyboard and membranes work fine.
>buy mechanical keyboard
>key strokes feel nice
>prolonged usage feels horrible
>hands hurt after 10 minutes of typing
>buy ergonomic keyboard for half the price
>can type for 30minutes like its nothing
Why are so many people on here deliberately inconveniencing themselves with pointless technology just so they can have something """""interesting""""" to do?

Incorrect. Most of my downloads come from Empornium.

You mean, like, illegally? Because the answer to that is "nothing at all". In fact, ever since I went <full adult> and made actual money, I started to pay for everything, because it's just so much more convenient! Need a program to edit audio files and be annoyed by Audacity's clunky GUI? BAM! Bought something that fits my needs for like 30 bucks. Keep saving the same porn by accident and need a program that finds duplicates using an efficient algorithm? BAM! Another 15 bucks and problem solved! Remember how good the original Command & Conquer soundtrack was? Ka-pow! 9 bucks and it's easily available on all of my devices; no need to manually copy it everywhere. I use torrents only for "emergencies", like whenever something I want isn't available through reasonable means - fansubbed anime would be the prime example.
In a 3-phase spot welder, how are the 3 phases wired to the two electrodes?
They aren't.
Carefully.
Seriously I don't know the answer but this sounds like a worthwhile question so here's a bump. Good luck.

I have like, so goddamn many stupid fucking cables.
>4x 3.5mm audio cable adapter cables
>25x random AC/DC transformers
>7x laptop power supplies
>9x dvi cables
>8x RCA audio cables
>12x cat5 cables
>random ass video adapters (dvi,hdmi,apple,etc)
>3x big huge mono audio cables (guitar)
>18x USB-printer usb
>5x mice
>6x USB extenders
>8x computer power cables
>handful headphones
Just. Fuck. Throw them all away except 2 of each?
>>59805874
Stop buying cables?
Pic related
>fucking adapters are useful as fuck for random projects I have, but TOO MANY. HALP.
Donate to Goodwill. I pick cables up from there all the time, as do others in my area given how quickly the stock turns over. Shit's even better than Monoprice on both price and convenience.
Name a more God forsaken language. I dare you.
Oh and fuck xilinx too
I dont understand how the most straight fonward circuits can become so utterly fucked when translated into verilog.
>>59805854
Verilog is pretty mellow, C-syntax. The hard part is just realizing it's not really procedural, and it's literally a hardware description language. You're probably just mad because you don't know what you're doing in your digital circuits class or whatever.
None of the languages you all whine about are god forsaken. If you think you can do better, invent it. But you probably can't, because most of it is already as simple and straight forward as it can be. The real 'god forsaken' languages are the 'higher' level ones, where these 'programmers' become entirely separated from what is going on underneath.
>tfw you're too dumb to solve any of the Google Code Jam qualifier problems
>tfw you realize you are a pajeet level programmer

Don't cry to /g/, practice top coder, leetcode, hackerrank, old ACM questions etc...
Also make sure you have a solid ds & a background so you don't miss simple solutions (clrs is good enough)
65 score here. Try being better.
Think of this as an opportunity and a gateway to better things, you could look back at today in 10 years time and remember it as the day you took the extra step and made something really great of yourself

If you think it's worth the risk then go ahead. That's a too good to be true bargain and I would take the risk as well.

I just downloaded W10 Enterprise LTSB 90-day evaluation and installed it on a virtual machine.
Holy hell, this is amazing. No Windows Store, no shitty "apps", no Cortana, no spyware, no telemetry, extremely fast, every stupid shit in W10 is disabled and unavailable, no ads, etc. etc. etc.
How the hell do I get this on my desktop? This is fantastic.

> The whole Mir hate-fest boggled my mind - it's free software that does something invisible really well. It became a political topic as irrational as climate change or gun control, where being on one side or the other was a sign of tribal allegiance. We have a problem in the community when people choose to hate free software instead of loving that someone cares enough to take their life's work and make it freely available.
> I came to be disgusted with the hate on Mir. Really, it changed my opinion of the free software community.
> I used to think that it was a privilege to serve people who also loved the idea of service, but now I think many members of the free software community are just deeply anti-social types who love to hate on whatever is mainstream. When Windows was mainstream they hated on it. Rationally, Windows does many things well and deserves respect for those. And when Canonical went mainstream, it became the focus of irrational hatred too. The very same muppets would write about how terrible it was that IOS/Android had no competition and then how terrible it was that Canonical was investing in (free software!) compositing and convergence. Fuck that shit.
