Why do the pinned tabs look so shitty in Firefox?

???
>>59813092
>>59813092
This curve looks much more abominable when the tab has the width of a favicon. What were they thinking when they come up with this Australis shit?
What is the cheapest processor that can run EUIV at 60 fps ?

He can make AI in 20 years. And claims anyone who is as smart or smarter then he is can as well.
So why have none of you done it yet?
Are you admitting you can't compete with this man?

You'll be laughing when we are all enslaved by his C64 droids
I'd probably watch this guy but I can't stand his voice for more than few seconds.

Oh fuck imagine if outlaws all modern games.
What distro should a beginner use?
Mostly for things like LaTEX, Python, web browsing and music.
Just go with mint or ubuntu
I'm pretty happy with mint.
you can use almost any beginner distro
like ubuntu derivates or opensuse
>>59812637
literally any distro can fill that niche
arch doesnt have these problems
>hurr ubuntu is easy they said
>it just works they said
>its all going to be ok they said
fuck this im installing arch at least that got my screen resolution right
just change your resolution then famalam
>can use arch
>too dumb for ubuntu
made me think
>>59812620
this is the only resolution option here
Is there any actual use for an antivirus program? So far every single one I've tried has been nothing but a nuisance and a resource hog.
I might as well install a random rootkit, I bet the operator would do a better job of keeping unwanted malware off of my pc than any of the big names like norton or avast.
Seriously, wtf is the point of these programs? I can understand if you're not computer literate, but these garbage programs are useless for anyone who knows not to install random shit or IE toolbars
>>59812520
bump
>>59812520
> not using Common Sense 2017
That's your problem, everything else is bloatware.
>>59813327
But I am in full agreement with you.
I've already untared the stage 3 tarball and I'm going through config stuff now. I actually a Gentoo fan from way back and now that systemd is everywhere it seems like an even better choice.
>>59812418
Don't OP, it's comfy.
>>59812418
You built your coffin, now lay in it motherfucker.
Don't you have something more productive you could be doing instead right now?
Why do Linux gamers use Linux for gaming?
Don't get me wrong, Linux is a great operating system, but I'm sort of failing to see how anyone can use it for PC gaming. Yes, there are games that exist for Linux, loads actually, but the majority of them seems to be indie titles.
At least if Windows fucks up, I have Civilization 6. That'll keep me going.
>>59812400
Steam legitimized it.
>>59812400
The OS uses less resources than its competitors, so it's able to give those spare resources to running the game. Once you're able to optimize a game on Linux, it'll most likely run faster than the Windows counterpart.
I use it because I like the open-ness and transparency of Linux, and I'm willing to sacrifice a few games for that.

I also forgot about this, which explains why steam believes that people should use Linux for gaming.
I'm going to get out of the basement and start driving for uber. Can anyone recommend a cheap, and small, 4g tablet for navigation?
You would make more money in the long run working at McDonalds. Uber is less than minimum wage after all is said and done.
>>59812425
Maybe, but I live in a major urban area and some friends of mine make 2k to 3k a month

Does anyone REALLY need a £40 wifi-enabled 9v battery?
I use mine to power a raspberry pi that connects to the battery over WiFi and updates a small script that records the battery's current powerlevel
>>59812486
a. Do you use a step down converter cause RPi doesn't accept 9v
/b/.How long does it run it for
It would be pretty dope for a guitarist who has a wireless setup. That way they could switch their pedals on and off from a distance.
/g/ users, Is JavaScript anything worth pursuing?
The reason I am asking is that i am trying to learn some basic stuff about app designing for my personal project and was wondering what should be the best way to go framework wise.
>>59812301
>app designing
what kind of app you dumbshit? webapp? desktop application? phone app?
Fucking js devs they think that their shitty language is the right choice for everything
>>59812301
I mean JavaScript is the worst thing to happen to the internet, but it'll get you a job for sure
Is the LG /g/6 the new official phone for /g/?
>Expandable Storage
>Great battery life
>Beautiful 2:1 screen
>Wireless Charging
>Quickcharging
>Ordering it gives you either a Google Home or a TV
>Headphone jack with quad-DAC
>Super wide angle camera with superb quality
>Easily rootable
>Super fucking durable, JerryRigEverything couldn't even break it
>Amazing design
>$200 cheaper than the competition
Why would anyone buy any other phone of 2017?
>>59812280
Just bought a mate 9 instead. In the UK is doesn't have the quad DAC or wireless charging. You would know that if you actually owned one.
flagships are way overpriced.
bought an iPhone7 because I want to have a decent OS which is reliable, and because of the better app design.
