Are clients that are this stupid worth keeping? Last invoice took 2 months to pay.
Also free lancing horror stories thread
Can't you read or something?
best that you can do with dry clients is cut them off and DONT GIVE THEM SHIT until they pay what they are in debt to you. if you work like a charity they will not pay ever. clear your accounts with a client before you take another job from them or you will find yourself in a situation where they drag you back by telling you they pay with "the next" payment.

Not sure what your trying to say. Yes I can read? My point is that if this retard can't explain something through email is this worth my time or should I just get rid of them.

Thanks.
is there anything actually useful you can do with a micro-controller e.g. a atmega328p?
I mean sure I get that you can control leds and take measurements with sensors and stuff and theire decent for learning to program etc..
but is there anything USEFUL you can do with them?
Interface with other hardware

could you for example interface with a ram stick and install a gnu/linux? is there a distro that supports 8-bit arm?
Does anyone else think the Red hat shilling is getting out of control here. The constant anti-Arch and anti-Ubuntu threads by admitted Fedora users, and now constant anti-Unity shitposting by GNOME users. People are nonstop shilling GNOME here when it didn't seem to attract a ton of attention before the Ubuntu switch. Fedora users have become the biggest shitposters on this board, and the board has become flooded with pro-RHEL/Fedora, pro-GNOME and pro-systemd posts. This doesn't just seem like a natural thing, /g/ used to be a healthy mix of distros but now if you don't use Fedora/GNOME you're just a neckbeard loser without a real job according to /g/. This board is becoming much less interesting and diverse now that it's basically become a Red Hat-sponsered imageboard.

redhat fucking sucks and centos is worse. Having only gcc 4.8.1 available when the latest version is 6.3.1 is fucking unacceptable, and shit breaks all the time. Happy now OP?
What do you guys think is the best people searching site? White pages is awful and all the sites require paid accounts and stuff.
Yeah white pages has gone to shit lately
Depends what information you already have and what you're after.
>Reverse image lookup
>Vague searches in search engine
>Calling local schools, workplaces etc. to social engineer more information
>Calling ISP
Funny story about ISP. I had somebodies name, age and email along with their IP address so I could see which ISP owned the IP address. I called them up and told them I am having issues with my internet, told them my email, name and age then when they said my internet is working fine I asked them what address do they have down? Because I just moved and had spent a whole day on the phone getting them to setup my internet at my new place. Lou and behold they told me the exact address.
And all I needed was facebook info. The persons first and last name, date of birth and their email address. Their IP address I grabbed from spoofing an email.
>>59830561
I mean I don't know the area you were in exactly but wouldn't have been easier to go through something like white pages to find their info?
>mfw GNOME shills are trying to convince to use such shitware.

No operative system is to blame for your shitty screen.
>I'd rather go back to the Windows 10 botnet.
He who would trade liberty for some temporary screen real estate, deserves neither liberty nor screen real estate.
>>59829436
Comparison stands valid for every res and aspect ratio on the market.
GNOME shell design is completely retarded when it comes to screen real estate.

Deluge because you can actually remove the side bar instead of in qbittorrent where it is mostly hidden at best.

I know that at least half of /g/ disapproves fingerprint scanners
but uses them anyways
because they are afraid the FBI or any other organisation would collect these biometrics. But what about iris scanners, not the Samshit that can be unlocked with a picture, but the one that is using deep scan technology like Windows Helllo gadgets do.
What is your opinion on them, not Win10, but actual and good working iris scanners
Install Gentoo

I personally wear glasses so everytime I set up an iris scanner it won't auth me right away but their recognition improvers over time
