Find a superior OS.
Tip: You Can't.
Considering ever other Linux distribution developer cannot make the perfect distribution for you (or good enough) why would you ever be able to do it yourself; alone. Kys

LFS is not even a distro. It's a book that tells you how to build a very basic distro that will rely on repositories of other distros but will break all the time. It's painfully obvious that you haven't even visited the website, let alone tried it.
>>59876828
It's literally old as shit. It's not as comfy as a pentium three and it's slow as shit compared to a c2d.
They were and are garbage. Thankfully amd actually had some good ideas back then, unlike intel who'd rather have burnt your house down.

There are gaymes as far back as 2015 that haven't been cracked!

Games nobody gives a fuck will hardly attract crackers.

You must be crazy. Nier;Automata has like 9.6/10 from gaymers and nobody has cracked it yet.
Are you surprised people who made their names cracking steam games can't crack denuvo?
Ubuntu GNOME is shipping with 3.24. Arch refuses to update its obsolete 3.22 packages. Is Arch finally dying?
>install minimal distro
>install gnome bloat
doing it wrong
tl;dr who cares
Is that really the case?
Even Debian as at 3.23

How did Microsoft get so close to nailing it entirely with Windows 7, then go back so far with every iteration since?

Explain how W10 is inferior to W7 without mentioning the botnet meme or the arguably bad behavior of Windows Update, which is getting better.

You wish. Plasma is even worse now.

Well at least put some effort into that bait instead of just claiming its even worese.

Intelfags on fucking suicide watch, has 16B revenue per quarter and needs AMD to make GPUs for their CPUs.
But hey this at least means Intel will have some usable graphics in laptops.

im never buying intel again after they locked kaby lake to windows 10

They've been licensing graphics IP from nvidia for years now. They're just switching to AMD. It's not entirely unheard of for Intel.

Even if you want to run W7 (which you can with some difficulties), Microsoft won't provide you any updates
I'm sure this thread has been has many times before and I'd normally check the archive but it's down.
I got an e-mail from my ISP about "sharing copyrighted material" i.e. torrenting, just an 'educational warning' type deal I'm not being raided, but still it made me realise I should probably get a VPN, I've been putting it off for a while.
So does /g/ have any consensus on what VPNs to use, ones to avoid etc.? I'm in the UK if that's a factor. And torrenting is what I mainly want it for so something that wouldn't cut my download speed much, it's abhorrently slow as it is.
self hosted
I've been needing VPN as well, I've heard astrill is good.
