Glue the phones back to back and have the best of both.
Why do you have two shitty choices only
Gay overpriced bezels vs gay useless OS
Should just throw a pixel in there too and end your life
Alright, you contrarian fucks. Give me one good reason to switch my OS (windows 10), other than >muh freedoms.
I seriously doubt most of you faggots actually like using stupid shit like mint, which feels like a shitty version of windows 2000

Yes, because you know that your apps would be used on a premium device by white people as intended, not their cracked version on some street-shitter's $99 chinkphone.

It should be exactly $589.89 and not a cent more/less.

No surprise there. People should upgrade back to Windows 7 just like they did with XP over Vista.

does windows 7 support DX12 or Vulkan?
It is over. I am selling my cellphone and I will shut down my Internet connection. There is no privacy, there is no security, the botnets are too strong. Goodbye my friends, it was a good and pleasant ride.

no

Since when was there a PS3 emulator? And the PS2's a pretty unique system, not surprising it takes a lot to emulate. I have a hard time believing the PS3's less taxing though.

Can I get a redpill on CPU overclocking? The amount of conflicting information is retarded.
>Is it safe?
>Does it degrade the CPU faster?
>>59898709
The first think you gotta understand, my nigga, is that all CPUs aren't exactly the same. When someone says they can overclocked a chip to 4.6 GHz that doesn't necessarily mean your chip can go that high. What a good tutorial will tell you is how to walk your CPU up until it becomes unstable or until it reaches a speed your that satisfy your productivity requirements.
>>59898744
I just did a bitch mode overclock right now just to test the waters and here's what I got
>1.21V
>4.3 GHz
>82 degrees MAX temps under Prime 95
>45-55 degrees emulating in Cemu
>No crahses
Is that fine? I just get paranoid about this "degradation" shit and don't want my CPU bottling out on me.
Also, is Dynamic volts better than Static? I hear that Dynamic is better for long term use and Static is better for testing.
Specs:
>4690k CPU
>Hyper Evo 212 cooler
>>59898709
Yes it's safe, I would guess it degrades the processor faster aswel. I tend to undervolt them to get them cool. I delidded a 7700k and reduced stock voltage to 1.09 and I can run it with all fans on minimum speed with an air cooler.

I'm looking at 4k, 15 inch laptops to use for my studies. I do a lot of pdf reading (medical studies) and could not possibly buy, print out, or store the volume of books i have. I do read through a lot of them completely but i also just use the occasional chapters from certain books and never finish the rest of it. Basically, i want to get a dell xps 15 in 4k because i feel it will provide me with the best possible quality image, as i sit at my desk and make notes, going through my internal medicine texts.
Could one of you technophiles perhaps critique the cps 15 for myself, or offer solid reasons for why another laptop might be superior
I am really liking the infinity edge and build of this laptop.
t. technologically illiterate scholar.
i might add, i absolutely have no intent on using the laptop for gaming. I do not game. So any contender laptop in 4k, with or without a strong gpu/gpu at all is welcome.
>>59898700
get xps 13
it takes a lot less space on a desk so you can have it open on the side without it interrupting your workflow
>>59898736
yes you make a very valid point
I must have a look at the frys store again at these laptops
i hope it does not look small to me
Have you used any of these and what has your experience been like?

I use riot on a daily basis, convinced a few of my friends to use it. It's pretty good though its still has some rough edges.
Would recommend to anyone who isn't tech illiterate and an ounce of patience.
So /g/, is systemd the cancer or the chemo? Should I switch to GuixSD and use shepherd.
(typed from my librebooted x200)
I'm willing to bet that 99% of this board have no real reason to justify either side. The only real world difference for them (myself included) is typing systemctl instead of service, or journalctl instead of tail.
Just pick a distro that lets you get shit done and leave the low level Linux meme to someone else.
Because systemd is soooo big and scary, how do we know it is not part of some redhat conspiracy to implement NSA backdoors. Linus holds onto the kernel tighter than his nuts so it would make sense.
>>59898611
It's open source. Anyways I like it so far. Boots a lot quicker for me.
