Hey /g/
I'm moving to a large city soon and I'd like to keep a bag on me with the essentials (Laptop, Charger, battery bank, cords, etc).

Any recommendations on a nice light weight backpack?

Currently, I have a SwissGear ScanSmart my job gave to me. Its a tad bit heavy and doesn't breathe for shit.

I've had my Timbuk2 Command messenger bag for almost 2 years now and it's great. Separate pocket for a laptop that's TSA approved and pockets that are placed pretty well for chargers/cables and everything. I use it for travel for work all the time and I can fit my laptop(xps 15 9550) charger trackball mouse, 3ring binder 2 pairs of pants, 2 undershirts, 2 collared shirts all in one bag. Unless I'm going to be gone for more than a week I can usually pack everything in my carryon.

Outside of travel it looks great and fits well for going to/from work (5miles each way) on my bike. Just get it in grey or black and it looks fine.

It's one bit creeepy and one bit serendipitous that the moment you learned about the CM MasterKeys Pro M and seriously considered getting one, people in the last thread also started talking about it and other "compact" with-numpad boards like the Leopold FC980M.

And so: Is the MasterKeys Pro M a good buy? This would be my first time buying from this brand.

put this on the disk and then upscale the image so that it is a massive file that takes up all the space on the disk.
Burn the image to the disk and bury it somewhere.

So this is the future of Ubuntu.

I tried to install Ubuntu 17.04 alongside Windows 10. It worked for a while, but afterwards I found that my computer had become unbootable for both operating systems. I tried Windows recovery media, but it failed.

I then took my computer to a 5-star repair shop with overwhelmingly positive reception.

The repairman told me that Linux was a fatal virus and that I should never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever install it. (I thought he was never going to stop). He said it was the "ultimate computer killer" and that EVERYONE who has tried it has had problems, and that I should treat the install disc like it was the devil. He also mentioned that Linux's security system is outdated, that updates contain malware, and that the only way to get a safe version of Linux is to spend 3 years programming it yourself. He said there was NOTHING that Linux can do better than Windows.

My computer ended up having to be reset to factory defaults with a clean install of Windows.

He remarked that if I didn't have Windows 10, the problem would have been even worse and I would have had to get a new computer, but because it was Windows 10 it showed some resistance and was able to be safely reset.

Protip: even HDD degrades over time. And your existence while waiting for read/write operations.
Their lifetime is on par if not superior to rotating disks.

Looking for a crowbcat video that was taken down. Someone on /g/ posted a third party backup link in like 2013 but that's dead. Anyone happen to have a copy?

It's called Minecon Enemy Unknown, and the entire thing is minecon cringe clips cut to Xcom stuff.

This thread is for the discussion of NyaaPantsu (pantsu.cat), a free (FOSS) torrent indexer, and other nyaa alternatives.
The aim of this project is to write a fully featured nyaa.se replacement in golang that anyone will be able to deploy locally or remotely.

FAQ
>https://pastebin.com/Gq9MrJN5

Links
>https://pastebin.com/40aFT7CN

>Why is Pantsu down/error 502?
Most likely because the team is deploying changes. Wait for a bit and refresh the page. It should be mostly stable now.

I really love the Idea of creating Desktop Apps with things like electron.io

But I want to store data locally. Like a CRM or Job Manager.

Should I be writing to a basic text file or should I be using a form of offline database backend?

NeDB according to

maybe others are also usable like lowDB or levelDB, depending on your needs.
