looks similar. there are some different options though, you can choose to giveaway a certain number of downloads for free, you can allow people to pay extra and you can set it so it's stream only, not an actual download. but yes it's essentially the same thing, I just think kim might have some more experience and knowledge to push this forward, keep adding features and turn it into something lucrative, or not, maybe it will crash and burn. nice to see some forward movement in the file sharing communities

mpc-hc has built-in 98% of most codecs you'll ever encounter when playing media files. vlc has 99.8% of them.
the addition of codecs in mpc-hc was gradual over the years, so some people (especially codec pack users) may not have noticed.

Before it became popular, there was something called google video search. It would find videoclips from all over the internet. Best way to watch whatever kind of porn you wanted, completely cherry picked, and beautiful. You could find the funniest or most fucked up shit imaginable from thousands of blogs and niche sites. Then youtube happened, then google bought youtube, and the entire video medium of the internet was lost forever. I remeber it got so good, that you could simply look up the title of any movie on google video, and watch it in good quality.
