Hello /g/
we are having a test using Safe exam browser, is there any way to bypass it so you can go on any website you wish?
>>60062774
Just launch any other browser?
>>60062802
We're not allowed to cuz they're fucking insecure about us doing anything else

Is it time to switch to SSD-only storage or its price will drop even further in the future?
>>60062699
SSDs are still pretty expensive so I wouldn't just yet until a big sale comes around. For the right price it's totally worth it shit loads so quick
>>60062699
actually a better translation is "being with you is heaven"
>>60062699
>SSD-only storage
Flash storage is not a replacement for magnetic storage. Enjoy your cell degradation and writes and electron leakage on power-off.

So I recently purchased one of these to upgrade from my two GTX980's in SLI. And straight out of the box and into my PC, it started to artifact.
I need help understanding why. Because last weekend I somehow managed to fix it by using my motherboards Bios to overclock my PC using its EZ Tuning Wizard. It worked great enough to run at 1810 MHz boost clock for a whole day without artifacting while before I had to downclock it to low 1400 MHz. But when I decided to further overclock my CPU (manually) to 4.2 GHz, the 1080 Ti has returned to artifacting like normal.
I am now unable to reproduce the solution no matter how many times I try to replicate the steps I took that made it work the first time.
I have already issued an RMA for it and an Asus customer loyalty guy wants to email me back and forth but has yet to reply back to me.
So I was wondering if anyone could shed some insight in what could be wrong with the video card?
>Temperatures aren't an issue, maybe the VRAM could be running hot but it has adequant cooling and I reapplied my own thermal paste thinking that was the first reason.
>Drivers aren't an issue. Up to date with clean installs.
>Clean install of Windows didn't fix it.
>Switching the card to different PCI-E's did not fix it.
>Power Supply is a 1000 watt platinum 80+, shouldn't be an issue.
Bump. Interested in insight.
>>60062716
it's ded. congratulations.
yeah dont bother talking to asus
worst customer support in the business
just send it back to wherever you bought it from
Are these an viable alternative for cleaning computer parts (ad opposed to canned air) , or will they generate static?

just started using www.freecodecamp.com and wanted to know if there's anyone on here that got a job from it.
I used codecademy for like 2 years but thats a fucking joke.
I can't bring myself to finish FCC. It just kinda sucks and you're severely limited in what you can do and after doing a bunch of them I realized that I'm better than this (not by much but still) and I tend to put effort and attention into things I actually care about than some shitty FCC weather app

hi /g/,
I have a final exam tomorrow for my Into C++ class and I'm going over the practice exam my professor gave out. One of the questions asks what the output of the code in the image is, but when I try to test it out, it says "a value of type "double *" cannot be assigned to an entity of type "double"".
Did my teacher mess this up? Is it a trick question? Can I fix something in the code so that I can see the intended result?
Please help. Thank you.
first post on /g/ I'll try and post the code.int main () {
double *p,*q;
double i=2.3, k =4.3;
p=new double[2];
*p=i; q=p;
cout<<*p<<" "<<*q<<endl;
i=8.4;
cout<<*p; p[1]=&i; i=5.2;
cout<<" "<<*p<<endl;
*q=k;
cout<<p[0]<<" "<<*q<<p[1]<<endl;
return 0;
}
"p[1] = &i" is the culprit (incompatible types). You should see a result (not necessarily that which is intended) by replacing it with "p[1] = (double)&i" (casting the double* to a double)
>>60062132
I attempted to do that and it still says it's an invalid type conversion.
also tried to do static_cast<double>(&i);
