I'm in need for an online storage solution.
I need to store old photos on it, old files, archives, etc. Up to 500GB to a TB in the near future. I could buy a hard drive or build a NAS, but I will be moving and I'm also paranoid about theft, fire damage or simple HDD failures.

The service needs to be as cheap as possible, but legit/reputable, so no Mega.nz nor Mediafire or any other shady service which may end up dead in a year or two.

Speed isn't an issue at all. I won't be doing much downloading nor uploading.
Dropbox is too expensive. OneDrive looks better, but is there anything cheaper out there?

yeah you should check out S3 in aws. You can get an idea of what your costs would be like at this link, just put in size of data you expect and how much transfer you expect on average:

https://calculator.s3.amazonaws.com/index.html

click on the 'Amazon S3' tab on the left-hand side.
>>
you could upload the same data to two or three different "not legit/reputable" hosts like mega.nz in case one of them goes down.

or you could waste your money paying for cloud storage like a cuck.

If you get office 365 you get an extra terabyte on onedrive. Onedrive also integrates well with explorer on windows, and has a decent app on android. Tbh I find it very valuable it backs up all of my phone photos seamlessly and works super well for spreadsheets and documents

I know I sound like a shill but I'm pretty happy with it. I also have a couple NAS drives that I use for some things but overall onedrive is a huge help especially with phone backups

I'm interested in sinking like $30 into building a hobby computer out of a MOS 6502 (also considering an Intel 8088), but I'm not exactly sure how the hell you get it to run the assembly you make for it. I know that you'll need an EEPROM to store the initial code and RAM for variables, but after that I'm pretty clueless as to running it without some sort of emulator.

Any other /g/entoomen experienced in building hobby computers such as this?

Ever hear of Ben Eater? He has a great youtube tutorial on making an 8 bit computer. A little different than what you're looking for, but valuable learning resource nonetheless.

AFAICT, simply because they can.

This would be a great chip for a real time OS in embedded contexts. Really look forward to SiFive releasing the E310 (and others) independently.

Hey /g/. I just got an 250gb SSD and I want to move my OS to it and use it as the boot drive but any program I use just tells me there isn't enough space.

I have tried AOMEI as well because on their site it tells me how to clone a larger HDD to a smaller SSD and it looks like they changed it because you can't do it anymore. I have followed the steps to the T and still nothing.

Anyone have any ideas on what to do? I am about to just reinstall windows 10.
