Jinc/lanczos are image upscaled.
NGU/NNEDI3/Super-xbr are image doublers.

But I don't care about 48x24 pixel Mario? If it was at least Golden Axe which had a chick in bikini and a Dwarf in skirt.
How doe it compare for anime? Nnedi3 would lead to ugly artifacts in videos.
What's the best music player for windows /g/?

Are bluetooth earbuds still a meme technology or are there any decent ones? It seems like everything on Amazon is filled with fake reviews and chinkshit.
>>60201021
These are pretty legit: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LWI3995/
Even if you hate them they're only $40. The downside is that the mic is shit. I've had it for a few months and had connection issues every once in a while, but not very often.
>>60201021
After throwing away six pairs of $10 chinese ones, I bought these https://www.amazon.com/Plantronics-BackBeat-Fit-Bluetooth-Headphones/dp/B01I0VIMK0/ at Costco last year for $50. the rubber is durable, has developed a few small tears along the seams which were fixed with superglue. The plastic outer casing is very thin and eventually I bumped into something while they where in my pocket and cracked, also repaired by just removing the broken tabs that held it on, and superglueing it down.
Sounds decent enough for bluetooth, very open so I use them while walking around or on my bike and don't want noise isolation. Loud enough though to hear while driving on the freeway with the window down, won't work while using a leaf blower. Microphone works well enough for people to hear me with the window down in my car going 70mph.
>>60201260
these are the ones I was considering since I prefer non-isolated ear buds for the purposes of not dying while outside
Do they stay in your ears well? Do they feel heavy? Do they look funny? How annoying are they to charge?
Can't escape the botnet! Is there any service that will remove me from all these sites that are tracking me? Is there any safe phone? I need one for emergencies but Google is tracking everything and has access to my can and mic. Wtf, I need help. I need out. I may stop using technology altogether.
>>60200911
>Is there any service that will remove me from all these sites that are tracking me?
No. The vast majority of services are part of the botnet, because spying on you and selling ads brings in revenue. You can escape the botnet, but you have to do it yourself, with learning and thinking and effort, not just "subscribe to our magic service and we'll fix it for you". People who want that kind of convenience get taken advantage of. Always, in every area.
>Is there any safe phone?
Out of the box? No. At all? Still no, but there are ways to make it less bad. Basically you buy an Android device and get rid of everything Google on it. (the easiest way to do this is a custom ROM) And you have to remember that the network is hostile. Your carrier will be triangulating your real-time position with cell towers even if you disable GPS. You'll want to keep the phone off (or left at home) whenever possible, and to use wi-fi when ever possible, if you must have it with you.
>I need one for emergencies!
If it's really just for emergencies then buy a dumbphone and keep it with you but turned off. If there really is an emergency, any phone will put a 911 call through even if you aren't subscribed for service. I think that's not what's going on though, I think you're saying that you don't want to give up the convenience of having an always-on phone with you. There's no way to do that and not be tracked. It's that bit about how favoring convenience always gets you taken advantage of, again.
Startpage for search engine
Firefox/Any of its flavors (Or Comodo Dragon/Iridium if you like chrome) for browser
HTTPS Everywhere, Ublock Origin, and Disconnect are good extensions aswell.

I sincerely appreciate your helpful reply. I was considering paying a service but it seems like a bullshit scam.
I currently don't have a network and only use wifi.
For emergencies I mainly mean my wife being able to contact me in an accident or giving birth or something. Or a family member dying.
How safe are custom ROMs? I bricked a phone once doing that because I'm stupid (that's why I try learning here). I've noticed all these apps need Google+ and stuff and I have these photo galleries that can't be deleted. I want out of all this shit, seriously.
I don't if this is really the right board to post this. But I bought this Radio Shack headset at a yardsale about a year and a half ago.I've tryed it with almost every eletronic device I could think of, but the plug doesn't fit.Does anyone recognize this brand or model? Does anyone know what its meant to be used with?
Pic related.Although it might be sideways, I don't know why it does that.

Looks like it might be legit, they have the Dolby Atmos Audio which was only available on the UHD disc, so it can't have been taken from the DVD or 1080p bluray.
big if true
I'd love to download more 4k content, but the 50+gb sizes really put me off.

No vPro
No dedicated graphics
No touchscreen
Must be 14" to 15.6"
Must have at least 1 ram dimm for upgrades
Must be at least 1080p

0 - clean daily to weekly with alcohol or another antiseptic solvent
5 - never clean unless it looks dirty
9 - filth caked on so deep that reading the key labels is impossible
5, it could use a dusting though right now honestly
I'm a keyboard horse and most of mine go mostly unused, but all are cleaned at least every few days while in use and again before storage.
Current keyboard was cleaned just 3 days ago, HHKL (sue me, rubber domes).

I want to build the fastest computer possible with full and fastest access to internet and all search engines, films, u-Tube etc plus being able to use programs such as sound/video/music editing, photoshop etc. and have lots of memory, ports for camera/iphone interface etc but I am not interested in using it for games because I hate playing them although I would consider video games as part of some lucrative online work opportunities if they came along. Any help and suggestions about where best to start are most welcome.
You want this my dude
>>60200303
Where to start
>>pcpartpicker.com
For what you're describing I would go with an i7 7700k + gtx 1060 + 16 GB ram desu
>>60200343
>>60200430
"fastest computer possible"
I would go for a dual Xeon build. 128 - 512 GB RAM, a GT 710 when he doesn't game. Also SSD RAID.
I COULD BE WRONG, but if i get the cheapest celeron or pentium kaby lake processor with the intel 610 graphics and not the 630 (which starts at double the price), will i still get 4k@60hz hdmi on the b250/h/z/270 motherboards?
i want to build a 4k-desktop capable machine for my old man, and i can't really find this exact detail about the kaby lakes anywhere
i suppose if the motherboard says the support is there, i'm also guessing the feature also has to be enabled in the igpu. the 630 has that feature, but i'm not 100% sure about the 610. it would be logical if same-gen items would have the same basic decoding features
anyone know for sure? intel supports docs aren't really helping
shy bump
wow this almost 9 year old processor is probably better than a Skylake Celeron
>>60200272
Will you even be able to do anything with integrated GPU that shitty at 4k?
