>>60210855
I don't have any of those. Currently I only have a CPU, PSU, and RAM.
>windows 10
>running it since it was released
>zero problems
>smooth as fuck
>maybe week or two ago
>all of sudden this piece of shit slowed by at least half
>it boots up slower, execute slower, everything is fucking slower
and as i said, the worst thing is that it wasnt degrading slowly, but i powered off this shit
back then (which i rarely do) and since then its slow as fuck. my inner conspiracist is saying they doing this shit specially so im asking
anyone experiencing the same thing? unironically thinking about switch to Linux
>>60210620
I've heard some people talk about a bug where windows 10 hogs all your PC's resources. I've had buttons/the start menu inexplicably break before correcting themselves upon applying a major update.
Linux mint is a good starter and the one I currently use. It can do everything to suit your needs for most purposes. There are plenty of games available to the linux platform thanks to Valve's efforts, but a lot of AAA games are still windows exclusive.
I recommend getting a separate hard drive to install the OS so you can still use windows.
Don't worry goy, the latest (((update))) will fix your problems in no time :^)

I've hard that file fragmentation on Linux is not a thing. How come?
Pic related is my H: drive on Windows (obviously).
>>60210533
if you use ur ms partitioned hdd then it still can do
https://www.howtogeek.com/115229/htg-explains-why-linux-doesnt-need-defragmenting/
>>60210839
>If fragmentation does occur, the file system will attempt to move the files around to reduce fragmentation in normal use, without the need for a defragmentation utility.
How does it do that without defragmenting?
Why don't you drive a Tesla? This a tech board right? Then why not drive into the future?

Hey,
I'm searching for a new powerful linux distribution based on debian
I already used ubuntu and linux mint, and debian 8 & 9 and currently I use manjaro, I know it's not based on debian but I tried it and on my PC the performance is awful (with commercial drivers)
So I use linux for everything as my main OS on my pc and also mainly to play csgo
Debian 9 works really good but I also want to try other distributions for research, so tell me your experience and recommendations
Just stick with stock Debian or Ubuntu. Not worth wasting your time trying out reskins
Hey,
ty and which UI you would recommend?

Why do these tech type of people have long hair and beards?
Was it just the fashion back then so people today look up to them?
I noticed that I ,without deciding or thinking, grew long hair and beard and I'm only 25. Without any kind of plan to look older, edgier or wizardier.
Why do these things happen spontaniously to people who are more invested into computers?
>>60210176
that's what happens when you don't care about fashion (aka you're not gay, a cuck, or a normalfag). you spend more time and care more about the virtual world than the real world.
>>60210176
No time to worry about insignificant shit like getting haircuts when you're working on interesting and complex technology.
>>60210176
>was long hair and beards fashion in the late 60s and early 70?
Are you legitimately retarded?
Post a laptop with better 'bang for a buck' ratio or leave this board forever and don't come back

So I pre ordered my S8 on the 10th last month and they still keep replying that they are very low on stock. Is this possible? Is the demand really that high? Is Samsung really not that prepared?
I pre payed almost 1000$ and they keep testing my patience.
