nice OP, sir

It's pure tribute to the artist, not "a bit of both". Right in the feels too man. His old trance hit Children was the first MP3 I ever sought out and downloaded, before Napster was even out. In a way that was my introduction to the concept of finding music on a computer.

Is there a more reliable way of transferring files to an external drive? Windows Explorer is a shit. What do?

Any android devs?
does android studio require a powerful workstation or would it work just fine on a mid range laptop?
what resources are most important?
>>60328605
This all depends on what type of app you are developing. Making a text editor wont take up so much resources as making a 3d game.
>>60328605
I am begginer, but I know a guy with 4 years of experience as an android dev. Emulators take up alot of RAM, i suggest using an android device to debug
>>60328605
disk space is rather important : keeping android sdks for different versions can takes more than 16Go.
Also this : >>60328628
Android emulators take a lot of ram, take long time to launch if you don't have an high-end ssd, and need a cpu handling virtualization well.
An Android device to develop is really better

So?

Windows 7 will still be usable for the rest of this decade and most likely into 2030 if you use patches from the POS versions which are going to be supported for god knows how long

Looking for advice on a bluetooth speaker purchase.
Im looking at pic related, but naturally im nervous about dropping 500 on a speaker. I dont mind doing so however if the sound quality is that good. And this one has pretty good battery life. I also saw really good things about the jbl xtreme which is about half the cost but i couldnt really find anything comparing the two, i tried.
Any other speakers in the 300-500 that would be worth checking out? My research seemed to tell me these were the two best in the range but at opposite ends of the range so idk.
IK Multimedia iLoud. Small, portable, battery powered, Bluetooth enabled, studio quality speakers.
I love my A7X but I wish I could carry them around like this little guy.
>bluetooth speakers
might aswell listen to the sound of a dildo slapping against a cardboard box
>>60327998
Never give more than a 100 dollars for a bluetooth speaker lol.
They all sound shit because of their packaging.
Save the rest for some real speakers.

Why do you use gentoo, /g/?
I personally love the slot system and the ability to keep openrc. Portage is very good at keeping the system running and stable, the compile times for your average package is a few minutes.
What's not to love /g/?

Redpill me on ruby
>>60327571
It's simple to read and write, and has a large community behind it. It's a beautiful language honestly, that's why I have high hopes for crystal.
The downsides are performance basically, you can get around that slightly with jruby but for web other languages seem to better handle concurrency.
how do you trust it to get plurals right
