Why are Sony's Xperia phones always much better looking than anything Samsung shits out? Even their older androids were way ahead of their time design-wise
Look at these disgusting rounded corners. Literally 2010 tier
>>60344488
Because Sony.
Because they're square
What does /g/ think of Fluent?
It's shit.
how should we know we can't use it yet.
It's marginally better than what Windows has now, but it's still what >>60344479 said.
Am I the only one here kind of optimistic/excited for Microsoft?
Yeah, they have uninstallable candy crush installs on Windows 10 and they want us all to be on the botnet but they've really been pushing to be relevant to the consumer market since 2012. The Surface lineup has had good success, Cortana is kind of getting there now, I can finally have Linux on my Windows system so I don't have to use shitty gnu for windows programs or boot separately, and in general their ecosystem is beginning to really develop. I wouldn't be surprised if Apple falls by the wayside and Google gets stuck on the web. I really think Microsoft has a good chance to take back the consumer market all over again.
>>60344369
Go go Microsoft! /g/ encourages you!
the company may be having fun being a poor imitator of apple but all us windows fans are suffering for it. It was possible to defend MS in the past. not anymore

pls stop
>Use Hackintosh
>No firewall
>No anti virus

I still know I'm 100% safe.
I feel sorry for you winpajeets that have to load 36 different anti virus using up 50% of your ram, and scan every day yet sill find "lolrekt.exe" somewhere in your disk
>implying macs don't get viruses
>I know I'm safe because I saw the source code for my proprietary OS

why is this at 100% all the time? Is it bad that it is?

Hello Sir,
Plz delet This infringing image.
Best Regards,

Yesterday after a hot day my pc started smell burn, so I shutted it down and after some search I didn't find anything burnt. Then I turned it on and underclocked from 8 cores 4GHz to 4 cores 2.8GHz and it's still kinda hot, any idea of what to do to cool it more?
>>60344136
Let it drink some water. Works for me.
>>60344136
I remember when my PC started smell burn. That sucked. It will run cooler if you install Gentoo on it.
Undervolt it anon. Do the thermal paste. If it's an amdizzle pseudo 8 core u may be fucked as their tdp temp is kinda low
What's the deal with all the suspiciously cheap windows keys going on ebay? Even for Windows server, which is normally very expensive.
Microsoft charges so much for licenses at retail, so are these just good deals, or are they illegitimate in some way? What about for business use?
>>60344029
>buying windows
>in this year
>>60344029
The keys are legit themselves.
People with access to MSDN can request key for trying out operating systems/learning/similar purposes, the request keys for free then sell them for $10. Don't buy these, the day MS decides to axe the system or simply remove these keys, you are fucked.
in the EU it's a right to resell software. there's a huge supply of keys from replaced business computers and most people don't know/trust used liscences. large supply, rather low demand -> low price. if have several used software liscences and never had a problem.
I have build a electric scooter powered ba a 20S2P LiPo pack.
How often do I need to ballance the cells?
Wich charging voltage is ideal for longest battery life?
How harmfull is it to overcharge the battery?
At wich temperature do I have to fear a thermal runaway?
Where do I get a 220A DC fuse?
I post this here because /o/ hates scooters and EVs, /n/ and /wsr/ have no clue what I am talking about.
The fuse is kind of a problem. Try and find a scrapped battery backed UPS, they have a pair of 80A fuses. You'll need 4 in parallel.
>>60344023
>20S
that's a lot of voltage
What does /g/ think of SnapChat? Cancer, botnet or total shit?
What are good android alternative to stock app? I know only Casper.
>>60343771
>Cancer, botnet or total shit?
All of them
>>60343784
Just botnet.
a significant advancement in cancer, the likes of which facebook, instagram, and myspace(lol) could only dream of
When did you grow up and begin approaching computers as a means to an end and not an end unto themselves?

and function is form

uses fewer reserved words
I still don't understand why people want modules in C++ though
>>60343639
Why do C++ references exist? What's wrong with just using a const pointer and enforcing const correctness?
The magic syntax of C++ references is ugly as fuck.
why is /g/ wiki ded?
>>60343625
People use that? It's complete normie tier junk
I suppose because everyone who cared about maintaining it has left
