6/2(2+1)=6/2*3=6*3/2=9
The order of multiplication of scalars is irrelevant, if we were dealing with tensors, the order would matter.
If you want to get 1, you have to add a set of parantheses.
6/(2(2+1))=6/(2*3)=6/6=1
