It runs faster than 7 did on my i3 3220 so I'm perfectly happy with it and it didn't cause any problems so far.

Why doesn't Firefox just make a separate process for each tab?

Furk. I can't tell you how many times a single website's Javascript fucked up my entire computer, forcing me to either restart or wait 10 minutes for Task manager to pop up.

If Firefox just changed to how Chrome processes webpages, then it'll go 10 times faster, because then priority can be given to the current tab opened.

This is in the pipeline but there's shit in the Firefox codebase that goes all the way back to Netscape 1.0. It takes time to clean up.

Could I use a laptop as a home desktop solution?

When at home, I would connect the laptop to my peripherals. The laptop screen itself could even act as another monitor. When it's time to go, I disconnect the devices and take my laptop with me, granting access to my entire machine on the go. I guess it's a bit like a Nintendo Switch for PCs.

Has anyone tried or currently does this?

Try adguard, it may work. I find it better than ublock and abp because it takes up less memory and still works. I wouldn't know if it works on YouTube though because I like to support the YouTubers I watch. 15 seconds isn't too much

Vega will not "destroy" Nvidia
>Nvidia has directly competed with AMD for years now.
