It has pen tilt, though.
And the m3 and i5 versions are fanless.
>I need to buy a new laptop because it has usb-c
The new surface is just a cpu upgrade. They already mastered the best laptop form factor with sp4, kind of hard to improve on perfection.

I like it OP. Simple and clean. 8/10
Need to work more on mine, still kinda new to this stuff.
Very simple setup. But it's easy to use and gives me space for gestures.

proprietary nvidia drivers for linux have no telemetry. nvidia only does this to windows users because they know you guys love being spied on.
Have my CompTIA Network + exam in 2 days. Been watching videos from Prof. Messor, Mike Meyers & CBT nuggets. What else should I be reviewing?
Duke, network+ is so fucking easy. The prof messor videos cover more then what's actually on the test. If you've been watching those and paying attention you'll do fine.
>>60544869
I've been watching more of the Meyers ones, also been going over books as well. Should I switch to Messor and cram?
>>60544909
I guess, sure. Whatever makes you feel more confident. The entire test is about 60 multiple choice questions, and quite a few of them are very basic. "Which one is a valid IP address", " what's more secure, WPA or wep" etc etc.
Anyone here using Rust in the Windows 10 Subsystem for Linux? I can't seem to edit the path variable for initial configuration so that bash can see rustc, Cargo, etc.
I tried appending the directory to .profile in the lxss directory tree and it made no difference, even on reboot.
Take your time guys, I'm downloading Gentoo from the Windows Store while I wait.

Literally ask on plebbit.
Ask the guys over at reddit Rustfriend, /g/ doesn't particularly use this socially just language.

I need a tablet for reading PDF and shit for Uni.
I don't know shit about iOS products and what u can do if jailbroken.
Can I install a terminal or a linux subsystem like termux on Android?
Can I manage the files I have on it?
Can I read PDF and other docs for free?
The iPad air 1 is at a comfy price here, is it good?
>>60544075
you don't have to know anything about iOS, it's pretty easy to pick up. It is not a device you should buy if you want to work with CLI or if you want to work in the same fashion as you would on a PC. You shouldn't want to do that either way, it's a tablet, and it is designed to be a good tablet. It comes with an app called iBooks that has built in PDF support, you can just download and open any PDF in that, or you can download any other PDF reader thats available on the iOS app store.
iBooks supports epub and PDF. if you want txt support, iCloud drive can store that for you. If you want to open a word file you can use Pages, which is a word processor that you can get from Apple free of charge.
Do not expect it to have a file manager. The OS is made from a different standpoint, instead of you having to make a coherent file structure for your documents, the apps themselves store the documents that are relevant to them.
>>60544312
But with the jailbreak what can I get? Like a file manager support or a more open OS?
I mean the cli because what I need is a PC as well, but mostly a PDF reader. The surface is costly still and only the pro 3 supports linux enough. Also, the 10" seems better than the 12" of the surface. I'm still lurking around.
Wait for the Lenovo Tab 4 plus. Seems legit and cheap.

>R5 1500x - generally all you need for 60fps with power to spare. No i5

>1060 - Generally outperformed by the RX 580 and GSync costs more; consider only if AMD is not an option (ie CUDA)
