Is x265/H.265/HEVC good, or not? I only really care about the quality of the picture, not worried about filesize. My new laptop supports 265 hardware decoding in MPV so I'm considering getting 265 instead of 264 for any future movies I rip/download.

Also I can't find the difference between these two pictures; one is with madVR default settings in MPC-HC, and one is using Enhanced Video Renderer (custom presenter) which is the default setting in MPC-BE.

Also why tf does MPC-HC not save screenshots at the video resolution (1920x1036)?

To be honest, I haven't tried gaming on Linux yet, but most of the games I own on Steam claim they have a GNU/Linux port (like Terraria for example), but I haven't tested them yet.

That, and the fact that most people still think that GNU/Linux is 99% three screens of words in a CLI/Terminal just to install, say, Google Chrome. They still think it's not user-friendly while (in most cases) it's really the opposite. If it isn't that, then maybe it's the comfort of just running a .exe file to get everything working (including viruses, as well).

Hell, some even claim that programming is more productive and less time-consuming in ANY distro.

I am just now installing python, working on code academy to understan python. I feel like an idiot trying to type all of this code into my computer. Is it normal to feel overwhelmed when learning python?
I plan to enroll into school at a community college for programming. I want to get a early start on it due to having adhd and learning difficulties.
