Is it a bad idea to buy the biggest external hard drive I can find?
I've filled my 4tb TV Shows drive and need either a second drive or a bigger one to keep adding to.
Are bigger drives more likely to fail?
No. As long as it can hold gentoo, it's fine.

I just looked up the biggest single drive I could find.
Having said that, my 3 seagate drives have been fine for a long time now. Spinning almost constantly for years

Snakes are illegal where I live.
Is there software which can automatically produce seamless stitches from screenshots taken from a panning shot where the foreground's levels change as it pans and the foreground and background move at different rates, like pic related?
>>60733485
No, but you can adjust the shots manually to get them pretty close, and you can heal the edges so they're not so obvious. Clouds can just be cloned/healed. A little cut and paste will take care of the ocean.
>>60733485
Photoshop photomerge.
>>60733622
I figured out how to do it manually with basically lots of layers, a big, soft eraser and some touchups with some soft brushes.
>>60733676
Will look into, thanks.

Start with Programming: Principles and Practice Using C++
>>60731628
C++ was actually a mistake. It's supposed to be a better C, had 45 years to prove and yet it could never surpass C.
It has 3 standard libraries, and 0 practical use cases over C. Now that Rust is out, even the 2 (TWO) years old infant language is faster and safer than C++.
My two cents: don't bother with C++: stick to C since C++ is going to die in the next couple of decades
>>60731628
Why? what's your end game?
What do linux-fags have against C++? Is it because they have no original thoughts of their own and their daddy Linus said it's bad?
>>60731141
>unironically post the creator of c++ and linux user
It's too fast and not dynamic enough for brainlets.
>>60731141
Linus has said every language sucks except C
His opinion is worthless and his kernel is for brainlets
