I wish they adopted some of the addons in the gnome DE
Like caffaine should go directly to the shell
Dash to dock/panel must be a default
and Pixelsaver

What OS are you using?

I am using Windows 7 mainly for work and I would switch to Linux but I don't know if Microsoft software I use for work

Also another reason I don't use Linux because I don't know how to use it

Way too expensive for what it is. Finding a same spec'd laptop for 500€ less isn't hard at all
>>
Looks good, really. Lenovo is getting some good design out there these days.
I just got an Alienware 13 R3 and I'm pretty happy with it, mainly due to the OLED display, but I'm getting some weird stuttering in Windows. I think it might be to do with the 7700HQ running at 50c idle.
Blah.
It bounces around 50-70c pretty easy when just doing based shit.
Might contact Dell about it and be like "Wtf."
>>
>>60794013
my 7700HQ is usually around the same but no noticeable stuttering, running w10

>What's your worst experience arguing with a macfag /g/?
Every experience with a MacFag is the worst:

>macs are better for graphics
>macs cant get virus
>macs last longer
>professionals buy macs
>apple will never kill the mac
>macs are upgradable (you just buy a whole new mac)

Absurdist level cancer of the worst kind.
Macfags should kill themselves.

The U.S. State Department has begun vetting social media profiles as part of the visa application process for foreign nationals suspected of having terrorist connections

http://www.trunews.com/article/state-department-begins-vetting-social-media-for-visas

>(VERO BEACH, FL) Starting on May 25th of this year, the State Department began requesting five years worth of prospective applicants social media profiles. Additionally, consular officers can now also ask for 15 years of biographical information including expanded details about family members, their travel history, employment, residence, and passport numbers. According to the State Department notice posted on May 4th of this year to the Federal Register, the new vetting policies apply to visa applicants "who have been determined to warrant additional scrutiny in connection with terrorism and national security-related visa ineligibilities."

>The State Department estimates roughly 65,000 applicants each year, or 0.5 percent of all yearly visa applicants, will be effected. This change was pushed by the Trump administration as a way to preemptively identify potential terrorists, and begin enacting his campaign promise of “extreme vetting” to better secure America against insider threats.
