Windows executables are smaller in general. See Demoscene 64k competition.

Protip: Nobody cares about the file size of system utilities. With gazillions of dollars in existion stuff, it's ALL about compatibility, software and hardware.

it's a game engine, like UE or whatever else.
the quality of the games is dependent on the quality of the devs, not the engine. only retards will tell you the opposite.

I did a big mistake. I was using fucking apple music that is not available on linux. So I have a library of downloaded music on my disk and I want to convert it to mp3 or something free and open. So how can I do this? Those files have m4p format, I've read that it's encrypted format.
Is it even possible?

Hearing the difference now isn't the reason to encode to FLAC. FLAC uses lossless compression, while MP3 is 'lossy'. What this means is that for each year the MP3 sits on your hard drive, it will lose roughly 12kbps, assuming you have SATA - it's about 15kbps on IDE, but only 7kbps on SCSI, due to rotational velocidensity. You don't want to know how much worse it is on CD-ROM or other optical media.

I started collecting MP3s in about 2001, and if I try to play any of the tracks I downloaded back then, even the stuff I grabbed at 320kbps, they just sound like crap. The bass is terrible, the midrange…well don’t get me started. Some of those albums have degraded down to 32 or even 16kbps. FLAC rips from the same period still sound great, even if they weren’t stored correctly, in a cool, dry place. Seriously, stick to FLAC, you may not be able to hear the difference now, but in a year or two, you’ll be glad you did.

Pushing buttons and wrapping things in plastic is not the same as engineering, testing, or advertising. Using a shitty Windows XP program to install an OS is not the same as building that OS. Keep dreaming, Lee.

I can't find information for this anywhere, so I'm sorry if this is a noob question guys, but my phone got hacked

All I did was text a number from Craigslist, and someone started doing transactions on my credit card from China.

I'm almost positive this is how its happened, so what I want to know is, is it really possible to steal information with just a text? Literally the only info they have is a spam email I use for cl, my cell #, and a couple texts I sent. It was a # local to my area too.

If I did get hacked, to what extent is my phone vulnerable? Do I need a new #? While I texted that person, my phone started freezing. I reset it and deleted all my web data.

I really appreciate any insight you guys can offer, I'm sorry if this isn't the right place to ask about this.

Probably not your phone hacked per se, but rather your number was used in some social engineering scheme.

Looks not so much, don't get me wrong, it looks ok.
It's fast because it's the WinXP DE of the linux world.
I wish it had a working global menu, but only *buntu has that because Canonical jury-rigs it into the DE. Menu forwarding is a mess.
