I set up a keylogger on my roommates computer just as a prank. That fucking face when after about 15 minutes of reading I find the words "Twink", "Incest", "Yaoi", and "Hentai".
Technology is a terrible thing. What have I done, /g/?
>>60833049
>What have I done, /g/?
Violated your roommates privacy in what you seem to think is a prank
However a prank is defined as a practical joke, and I fail to see the joke in your actions
>>60833049
why don't you recommend him some better anime and hentai then
>I just wanted to tell /g/ that I made a keylogger
You're a shit roommate. Also, you are not really in a place to make judgements while you sit here and type on a Honduran underwater spelunking blog site.

First for C
>>60832529
Is there a non-retard version of this thread?
So I made a strategy for learning C++. First I will read this book:
http://www.cplusplus.com/files/tutorial.pdf
And then I will read "Effective C++"
Is this a decent approach?

No idea on how to do that, so i look up a guide
Do everything exactly as shown in the vid
want to mount DosBox to CD drive
somehow cant type \ properly in DosBox
(among other problems)
Someone pls tell me what to do
>>60831796
maybe is your keymap, anyway try OpenDungeons
>>60831796
>mount C [your path here]
should say path successfully mounted to C:
>C:
this will display the directory
>navigate to game executable
>>60831796
You can't type correctly because DOSBox has the keyboard layout of an DOS PC, so try every key until you find the one. Read the DOSBox guide to learn how to mount a CD drive.

>but couldn't we pass some laws saying those corporations can't do this?
He doesn't seem to realize that governments and big companies are on the same side here. They're both enemies. They both want control and hate people having the freedom to do things without their watching. Why would he expect a government to help dismantle its own power? Neither governments nor corporations ever give up power voluntarily, it has to be taken away from them.

Travelling to the USA next week. I'm a JAVA programmer that develops enterprise software for the company I work for. I need to make sure that if I get checked at customs that they can't copy the source code on my laptop. I am sure there is a protocol like "if netbeans is on device copy whole harddisk".
Is VeraCrypt reliable? Everything I've read online says the government can't get around it.
>>60831041
They'll likely question why you have encrypted files and then ask you to decrypt them
Your only hope is deleting everything and then redownloading it once you get to your destination
>>60831104
I can't redownload it simply because of the archive size and practically it sucks. I am also not willing to put the source code online in anyway, not on the darknet and not encrypted.
I realise I will be forced to fly home when I refuse to drcrypt the laptop, that is a risk I am willing to take.
>>60831041
The company you work for's policy should be:
Never take company laptops across borders. Never take company data across borders.
They have the absolute right to deny you entry for any reason, or no reason. They are particularly keen to use that right at the moment.
This is a use-case that Chromebooks are especially good for, but even with that you may need to stow it in the cabin not the carry-on.
Why does Japan get all the cool sleek and stylish flip phones that do all sorts of cool shit like getting live TV, but the best you can get for a flip phone stateside is this hideous garbage that does fuck all?
>>60831036
Japan has the market for them, simple as that. Most people using flipphones in the west are drugdealers and old people and they hardly care about aesthetics
It's the Galapagos syndrome.

Any Blackmagic fags around here?
Tomorrow i am filming my graduation film with a Blackmagic cinema camera 4k (a friend lended it to me, it was a compromise - my DOP had to leave and i'll substitute). I don't know my way around cameras and I understand blackmagic is a special kind of one.
First: how much does it take to charge it completely? 1 hour? 2? I need to know this because i will be starting shooting from 11 am (9 hrs from now) to 9 pm. No extra batteries around. I can see Blackmagic discharges quite fast, so I will have to take it to a friends' place nearby to charge it 2 or 3 times. This is wasted camera time & daylight. How long do i have to keep it charging each time?
And second, please tell me any tips regarding BMCC. Is 5600 K good for outside shooting? Should i up the ISO up to 800 as the sun sets? ( I can see BMCC has low light sensitivity. What is a shutter angle? Shouldi leave Zebra on? What level?
The other scenes were shot using a Sony A6300 a few days ago, on 50 FPS. The scenes are outdoors. So i will be shooting in 25 fps with the BMCC.
