Hey, what are your thoughts on Nord VPN?

I primarily need a VPN, for the following things:

>Filesharing (Torrenting music and videogames)
>Hiding me from the boys in blue. (Copyright laws are pretty strict and hate speech laws are everywhere)
>Hiding the shit i do from my ISP.

Is Nord VPN sufficient for this? Because i have heard stories about VPN services keeping logs and ratting people out to the party van company (that whole Hidemyass.to stuff). They mention on their website, that they dont keep logs, but is that really true?
