Try converting the fw file to an img file if possible using the dd command then opening it up with Hxd?

Why is /g/ full of brand-cucks?

I got a OnePlus One because it seemed like the best deal at the time, not because I hate Apple.
I'm thinking of getting an AMD processor for a new computer because that seems to be the best deal right now, not because I hate Intel.

We have yet to evolve past simple tribalistic behaviour. Like sports fans, you must support a side your entire life and hate the opposing side with every grain of anger you can possibly give.

/g/ is compromised by shill marketers

This is what most people do. "Fanboys" don't exist unless you pay them.
>>
>>60886648
I'd say a good part of them are actually just shills

you can see them in many popular internet places

Hello /g/, i came here seeking for help. Since I'm studying mechatronics i also take part in robotic tournaments. I grew tired of LEGO Mindstorms robots and I'll start some serious robot-building stuff but here's the problem. I dont know what programming language to choose, I was thinking about Prolog or LISP, your opinion /g/?

Nothing. "Real" robots are programmed in C and Python nowadays.

Hello all,

I've been looking into the Florida shooting, and in particular the relationship between omar mateen and james howell who was arrested shortly after the shootings, preparing to do his own in LA.

The website that reported the connections seems to be dead, or at least overtaken by the searchinstant virus.

I was wondering if any of you gents might be able to tell me more about this site or where to look to get more info.

To get an idea of why this might be significant, see pic

Is it possible to fit a curved monitor on a stand or will it look retarded ? Going for a 3 monitor look but want the curved one on the middle with other 2 being non curved

>>
curved monitors are a meme you're going to regret. try to avoid them.
samsung and co. already gave up on curved TVs and now they're trying their hardest to at least get curved shit on our desks.
>>
Are they just not nearly as good as normal monitors?
>>
Just don't make the mistake of buying monitors that are too big for your actual viewing distance, it's easy to do if you have some money to burn.

Lets say I want to develop a small game from scratch. Which language would offer the most ease for compatibility across platforms?
5 posts and 2 images submitted.
>>
If you have to ask this then you shouldn't be developing a game from scratch.
>>
>>60885834
By scratch what do you mean?
OpenGL, Vulkan, DirectX?
Making your own Software Renderer?

I'd recommend C or C++ to make your own Software Renderer but if you're going to make it on Windows the Windows API is a BITCH!

If you're using OpenGL or something similar there's many different OpenGL bindings in different languages.
>>
By "scratch" what do you mean?

If you mean OpenGL or something than there's plenty of languages that have OpenGL supported.

If you mean making your own Software Renderer then I'd say C or C++.

Beware though, you're better off using a graphics or game engine because making your own game from scratch is BEYOND difficult.

Hey there, I'm new to Ubuntu and I could use a hand - I'm trying to set up a dual monitor with an old TV using an HDMI converter box, which has always been temperamental. It only works with very specific resolution settings, and I'm trying to set it up to 1920x1080 using compizconfig.

Thing is, I'm not getting an output - its trying to output 1920x1080+1600+0 does anyone know what those last two settings in the string are? could they hold the answer?

as you can see in the screenshot, the system thinks it's using a dual display but the TV is not displaying a thing IRL.

>>

Do you have xrandr installed?
xrandr --output HDMI-1 --mode 1920x1080 --rate 60 --left-of LVDS-1

That is just an example.
>>
>>60886290
I do, what's "left of LVDS"?

Ok /g I just got my degree and have an interview lined up for some work experience or maybe an internship.
My current manager(retail) hooked it up and I will be interviewed over the phone on thursday and then face to face if the phone interview goes ok.

They were asking my manager do I know anything about Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Azure.
As far as I can understand Office 365 is regular microsoft office.

So what's the best place to learn all about these things by Thursday?

I still use it pretty much every day.
It just werks. (horribly, but still werks)

This week I will be working on updating and fixing:
a window manager
a macro recorder and player
a multi-clipboard

Probably not. I'll probably do nothing and say I will do it next week.

you DO know about Autoit right?
its language is consistent, in contrast to AHK trash convoluted mess.. i see on the site they released v2.0 alpha, lets hope the syntax is sane now.

i still use AHK for quick on the go simple automations in simple v1.0 syntax though
ofc, given the massive archive of pre made complex scripts, i still use ahk for other stuff too.

recently i tested automating
chromium
browser using websockets, there was a websocket client library, windows dll avaiable at github.com\Websocket-API-master but its gone now it seems, you send json debug commands to chromium to automate anything, to using DDLcall on AHK 1.1+ you can control the browser much better than with controlsend and whatnot,
