It crashes for me even on KDE Neon, what a joke. That software center crashes more often than works.

Currently I am running a GrayLog server on my localhost on port 9000. The Linux machine that GrayLog is running on already as a public IP.
The problem is that I can't bind the GrayLog service to my external IP. I've tried redirecting my local traffic to the external IP without luck. Is there a better way of doing this?
You need to port forward silly

Is FastCGI fast? Are there other alternatives for serving dynamic content? Would you gain a significant speed improvement from integrating the code in the web server binary?
>>60911273
>Is FastCGI fast?
It's faster than CGI, since the binary doesn't get loaded into RAM every request.
>Are there alternatives for serving dynamic content?
- server plugins (like apache httpd modules), a little bit faster but with other drawbacks
- normal CGI
- in-language gateway specifications like PSGI, WSGI or Rack
- just redirecting http requests
>Would you gain a significant speed improvement from integrating the code in the web server binary?
A bit - see plugins - but then again, scaling and updating become worse.

Windows is uploading your personal details when you're. It actively using your computer. They're thoughtful that way.
With me they turn my computer on randomly during the afternoon/evenings to do its thing.

That should say when you're not actively using your computer. I should have proofread that but I opted to trust autocorrect instead, the same way I trust Microsoft not to compromise me.

I need help picking out the BEST processor and graphics card for my motherboard.
I have a ASUS Motherboard A68HM-K. I don't know much about how each processor and graphics card can't work on some motherboards so what I was wondering what is the BEST, FASTEST and STRONGEST processor I can get for this motherboard as well as graphics cards. I think it can only take AMD because I don't see any intel or Nividia logos on the box. I have a massively budget so I just want to know what is the best CPU and GPU I can ever possibly buy for my motherboard. Thanks!
>>>/g/pcbg
Just FYI, your socket is FM2+ which means you can take FM2/+ (AMD) processors. I'd say this one is "the best".

You have PCIe3.0 too, which is compatible with every GPU you'd use for gaming these days.
Now please fuck off and use /pcbg/ next time if you need to ask your dumb questions.
>>60910828
btw, if you do get that A10, see if you need more graphics power before you buy a GPU. Depending on what games you're playing you might not need it as that processor is really an APU.
