Why is it still the fastest phone on earth?
what’s his motto, /g/?
Please don't bully anon, this is a friendly board
Why are you not helping with development of this technology to become useful enough so that it can take care of mundane everyday tasks and therefore allow people to use their time to either do even more productive things or to shitpost more? Or both.
I am fucking tired of shit administration tasks like scheduling meetings and using e-mail to relay basic information. All the shit that a bot assistant could be doing instead of me.
I see Mycroft being the one with most potential, due to it being the most developed FOSS project in this field.
thread up again because I would rather have AI that takes over the world developed by freetards than evil corporations.
I share the same frustrations. Not one seems to be disconnected from the botnet. MS is further along because in the nineties they acquired damn near every voice company that was active at the time.
>I would rather have AI that takes over the world developed by freetards than evil corporations
Someone finally gets it.
Paid-for software is nice in that it (supposedly) puts deep resources behind it for development, but no-one bothers with the hard questions: who has control? do you really own your software? do you have any control at all? are you just a renter - or worse, a sharecropper - with your software?
I'd rather have "freetards" make my work tools than someone that has an interest in skullfuckery. It's bad enough that IT is infested with bullshit like "it's cheap to buy but the annual license fees cost more than the outright purchase of a competing product" or my favorite (because I've had to deal with it) "I have to fix all of my vendor's dumbass problems because they won't spend the money needed to hire competent programmers" (yes this shit has really happened)
What do you think about the Linux subsystem on Windows?
Is this the book for me?
What can I do with a shell account?
How do I use one?
I dont know. This is all the information I have so far, when I click the button it doesnt explain anything either.
I tried ssh-ing into <my username>@linux.ox.ac.uk but it didn't work
NMAP isnt really telling me anything useful either. its got ports 22 and 113 open, so I think its the right address but... idk.
Actually I managed to SSH into it now. It was using a different password to what I was expecting.
Now, what can I DO with it?
Do you watch any tech reviewers? Who's the best?
Hello there, so am going to install my closed loop watercooler for my CPU
My motherboard has two fan-connectors. One on the front and one on the back, do i need the exhaust fan on the back? If do, can i plug out/remove the fan on the front?
what kind of world war 2 motherboard do you have? my motherboard has 1 CPU fan connector, a bunch of case fan connectors and a water pump connector
There's no fucking way that I can pay for this shit. And I've never used a Macbook laptop before so I'm not used to this. Before, on Windows Laptops I could easily torrent it but I am having a little difficult with this. I need Office 365. Any way to get it? Any download links etc...?
> tfw I'm never ever going to buy an AMD no matter how far Intel lags behind
this is customer loyalty, I'm not gonna risk infecting my system with a virus because AMD minimum wage workers fucked up the coding
I have unironically never bought an AMD cpu.
They are unreliable. They have bugs in it. (proven). They dont have a GPU. This alone makes Intel better priced. Intel has much better software packages for developers.
I want to speed up my computer without buying an SSD. Can I install Windows to software RAID?
I'm headed back to college for a nursing degree /g/
What laptop should I get so I don't have to have something like pic-related?
So guys, is it still worth learning? After all, we can just be outsourced to robots...
> not using R
Why aren't you working as a data Scientist anon?
because R is a meme language
python is better for scripting and things like stan are better for bayesian statistics
interactive visualisation is also becoming more important and things like bokeh make it easy with python
>easy as fuck to use
>able to get FTTH speeds just fine (ttorrenting at 15mb/s right now)
Where is the fucking catch?
