Windows 10, everybody!!!
@60945038
I can tell you've never used windows before from your shitpost
>he doesn't use his GPU to mine coins when he's not using it for other stuff in down time
>he doesn't use those same coins to buy a newer graphics card to make even more money
I'm getting this baby in the mail.
Also, how long do you think this thing will be able to play new games at 1440p high settings? I'm thinking at least a couple years probably.
>>60945451
muh videogames
fuck off, /v/ermin.
Total noob here, is mining even remotely viable with a single GPU? I have a 1080.
I mined coins a few years ago. I started right as the power company was being a turd nugget and decided they would estimate everyone's bills and only do actual readings twice a year.
I kept getting reasonable electric bills, then got the actual reading. Fucker was 10x's the normal and about twice what i had made mining.
That was the last of my mining days.

That site has too much javascript, would port to Rust.
Why is /g/ always so ass-backwards? I tried MS Edge today and it is fucking fast, also it is much lighter on the systemresources, even compared to ff on Linux. I even get more batterylife.
I'm not saying you should use it, but if you have a Windows 10 Tablet it seems like a pretty good idea. Don't be a stupid /g/sheep, be an edegelord!

Again with the shilling, fucking Microsoft.

your right with what you've posted, but it barley has any addons and rapes your privacy.
Those who sacrifice freedom for convenience deserves neither.
>programming language has Monty Python jokes embedded in it
>programming language has hitchikers guide to the galaxy jokes embedded in it

And that's probably the best thing about the language.

i'm looking at you, _ _ _ _
How long would it take to learn Java on an intermediate level? This is coming from a faggot that doesn't know jack shit about it at all. Any good places/vids to visit?
>>60944966
depend on ur iq my dood
>>60944966
Is it a matter of learning the language or learning to program?
Do you have any programming experience? If not, how is your basic algebra?
>>60944966
Why Java
So my Ok Google function does not work. To enable it, all the tutorials I read say to go to Settings -> Voice, but my settings does not have and Voice tab.
I'm lost.

have you tried turning the phone off, then back on, then killing yourself?

Should I learn ruby as a beginner?
I learned ruby as my first language. It's incredibly fun but absurdly idiosyncratic.
So no. Don't learn python either for the same reason.
>>60944453
start from C if you want to be a brogrammer worth his grain of salt
>>60944453
doing things in Ruby may take less work than many other languages but ruby comes with complex things that arent made for beginners like functional programming, being able to change any class at runtime, it wasnt easy for me to deal with mixins... and in ruby there are several ways to do the same basic thing while in most other languages you have a default way to do it
what's some dead software you used to swear by
>>60944383
linux
It really worked
We need to put an end to the C and Rust rivalry. Even though C is faster, more powerful, and is used everywhere, there's no reason why we can't get along.

nice one/aʥGWUVeJ9VFWUB&<pEWUeJB&BtSegmentation fault (core dumped)
>>60944668
And this is why Rust or similarly compile time safe languages (Ada?) are the future for most things other than embedded work. C is still king for now, but the fewer things with exploitable memory problems the better.
hopefully people wise up to CoC as thinly veiled power grab
whats the point of bluetooth headphones if I'm carrying my phone to run with, anyway?
are there any headphones that can actually store songs?
>>60944300
So you don't have a dangling wire?
also, there's other bt enabled devices other than your phone.
>>60944300
Why would you want to run with headphones. Its so nice to just hear the nature around you... The sounds of the forest, chirping birds, the wind on the grass.
There are, but I believe most if not all are shit. One benefit are smart watches that can store and play songs though.
Why hasn't anyone developed a serious version of a programming language like scratch?
All you would need to do is drag and drop code in the right way, specifying variable would be the only required typing
>>60944288
2lazy2type eh? You must be a windows user.
Anyway, CodeSpells is a good idea https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JAZPkNdPmsE
Because beyond a certain level of abstraction these things always turn back in to programming languages as we currently know them.

it's literally nothing
