Can blockchain technology create a digital trading card game like magic the gathering, with the blockchain authenticating individual cards in such a manner that they cannot be replicated or falsified? Obviously distribution would have to be controlled by a centralised 'game creator', but given that condition, would it be possible?

Yes, I'll race you to it.

Let's say I want to make an application and I would like to earn something ( just something, even symbolic) but I hate ads and I don't see donation a realistic approach. Is shipping a miner with the app such a (((jew))) move o something acceptable?
Obviously:

> I will say clearly that there is a miner
> It will running only when the application is running
> It will be easy to turn off

I also want to say that I don't know much about cryptocurrency so maybe I'm missing something and the while idea is not applicable

Is a found iphone 7 useable?

Someone left their phone on a chair, I did everything I could to try to get it back. Texted and called their recents. Nothing. Day later they wiped it remotely.

The start up screen is back to factory, out of box.

I want to sell it, but I want to make sure whoever buys it can use it for more than a wifi device.

Do I have to unlock it? Is it good to go? Will Verizon be able to see the IMEI number and block it or bust me?

They keep censoring our Internet more and more - can we not just start to work on our very own Internet based on cheap LoRa mesh modules?

500kBit/s is still enough for 4chan and IRC.

something like this

https://www.smart-prototyping.com/LoRa-SX1278-10KM-433M-long-range-wireless-module-Ra-02

It has greater range than WiFi at much lower power consumption.

We could distribute small solar powered LoRa nodes all over the country to create our own infrastructure.

Hello /g/, next week I have a job interview, and I would appreciate some advice --
my job is a help desk job, in a medium sized company

the things I am supposed to learn to the interview are
Office suite, Os(windows),Hardware and networking

My hardware knowledge is pretty good, office suite is no big deal.

The thing that worries me is OS knowledge and networking.

What would you expect of a guy to know about the OS and the networking?
Any specific problems that I should be ready for?
12 posts and 2 images submitted.
>>
>help desk

Don't let the job kill you
>>
>>60963172
80% of what you do will be turning it off and on again remotely. Because this is easier than explaining to somebody how to do it over the phone.

Networking will essentially require that you are able to identify a fault and resolve it. IE, turn it off and on again.

"OS" knowledge, unless the workplace has a heavy Linux presence, just means that you know how to install and customise software.

Job applications always big up on wording and "technicalities" to seem professional.
>>
>>60963172
Why does OS worry you?

Is it a help desk job for private users or office users?
Onsite or external help desk?

On Low? Medium? High? Ultra?

What games do you play, it varies wildly by game.

On low settings, you could probably pull 144+ fps in most older games made before 2015. or like csgo, which i suspect is what you are actually playing, you twitchy fps faggot.

I feel for the false-positive and VIP skull meme from TPB. That or the KMS ra1n built-in in the ISO for win10 I got from my friend had a keylogger within it.

Now I keep receiving attempts to login on my account on my email from Russia and east europe. Luckily my email passwod is intact.

Now I'm paranoid, I actually bought a Windows key, formated my pc and changed all my passwords.

What is the most trusthworthy antivirus for scanning cracks? I can live without some of the pirated games I used to play, but I really don't have the money for buying Adobe Premiere and Photoshop I don't want to fall for the false positive meme anymore.

Security is getting a pain in the ass with this new windows 10, I never had this kinda of problem before and I've been pirating windows since literaly 1997.

Any tips?

Is there a USB fingerprint scanner/reader I could use to encrypt my hdd?
It's just a hassle to dig up my key to access my drive, just using my fingerprint to do the same thing seems much easer to me.
Pic related could work but I'm not sure if Im only able to login to Windows or if it lets me do what I want to do.

Any other ideas?

You do realize that everyone that you're in the room with, will have access to your drive becuase you're finger is in the same room
>>
>fingerprint scanner
>encrypt my HDD
Literally fucking wut.

The only way to do that would be with a TPM, which you either have or don't have in your computer. And it wouldn't magically integrate with a USB drive. Apple did that one the iPhone btw, with some $millions in engineering.

>>60962961
its not like Im in the public all the time, I live alone with my parents (not sure what you expected)
>>60962977
No, I thought I could use my fingerprint to generate a key so everytime I need to use a key, I could use the scanner

Don't care.

I've ever only opened a laptop to upgrade the wifi module, ram and SSD. Surface has all that so there's no point in opening it. By the time the battery is "bad" I'll already have moved on to a different laptop anyways.
