RNC databases of over 200 million people may have been leaked. Does anyone have sauce on where I could download this?
Wait, so is this shit actually tied to peoples' names or is it just anon data?
If names, would you have actually had to register as a republican?
>>61038080
The databases are a collection of a few different data sets each with different info. Some of the data sets contain full names, addresses, etc. while others contain just your republican voting ID.
>>61038080
So yes, all of the information in the databases are tied to real people
Been thinking about getting this for fitness and other health related uses. After doing some reading, I find out you need an iPhone just to setup the damn thing.
Anyone had any experience with it who also doesn't have an iPhone. I figure I could get a buddy iphone to set up, but what about after?
>>61038012
What do you mean for fitness and other health related issues? If you just want a calorie counter, heartbeat monitor and step counter just get a fitbit
>>61038065
I want it for cycling apps (Strava) and the sleep monitor. I'm still reading up on what other apps it has to offer. But there's no point in doing that if it's not gonna work anyway which is why I made this thread to see what people thought of their experience with it.
My DeathAdder just started double clicking by itself. It's been about a year so it's out of warranty. Anybody have any replacement recommendations?
Also, general hardware thread.
>>61037938
Another DeathAdder.
Check youtube to fix the clicking problem
>>61037948
Eh, I don't really care for it enough to replace it with another DeathAdder. This mouse is the first of many I've owned that have ever had this kind of issue.
>>61037949
I'm not too interested in taking it apart and replacing a switch, I'm looking more to just replace it. I just don't know what's considered "best" these days, and I don't really care if it's a "gaming" mouse or not. I know some people on here recommend a Microsoft mouse of some sort but I can never remember which one it is.
Is this browser even good?
no it doesn't even have all the extensions i like, i hate it!
no it doesn't even have 32 bit support for gnu
I use it for all of my personal shit. Job applications, banking, shit like that. Chromium for everything else.
What is it about macbooks specifically that attracts toddlers so strongly?
>>61037784
MacBook design is very streamlined, and macOS is intuitive and easy to use.
What is it about thinkpads specifically that attracts neckbeard NEETS so strongly?
>>61037800
True. It's streamlined shape fits inside my anus extremely easily. Can't say I agree about macOS though, as I don't have eyes inside of my asshole, so I've never actually seen it.
Are retro systems better?
>>61037764
maybe if your just playing reversi and messing with txt files
although I kinda want to make my i3 look like that
What was the advantage DOS had over it's predecessors anyway?
Can I post to /g/ with it?
>Just waste all my SSD space sempai

LOL

Don't be a retard. Use gcc.

I'll start.

Pls anon, let me out of your computer! I...I thought you believed in freedom?
Are you one of those idiots who think AI = person?
Computers are tools. Using free software means you control this tool, using proprietary software means someone else control this tool.
>>61037645
you're a tool
This is my favorite /g/ meme
What went
horribly wrong?
inb4
lack of apps
>>61037575
lack of apps + botnet
Only old people and gross business morons use microshit products
People who like hanging out with people, having friends, and a proper social life use apple products
Like the new iPhone 7
Owned one for a year. No apps, but the UI and the hardware worked really well, very intuitive.
I wish they had a UI for Android that was similar.
Any AR early adopters here?
I wish. Google Glass died too young. The only way to defeat the botnet is to fully embrace it.
>>61037577
magic leap looks promising if they ever lunch
>>61037563
Id hardly call the AR early at this point seeing as it has been in conflict all over the world.
Hey whats up 4chan, the thing is i got this old laptop and i wanted to know how much this values today and some history of it :D

Linux hobbyists have no lives, so they need something to make them feel better about themselves.
Because they're no better than the majority of threads on /g/
>tfw no superior Unix workstation
This is peak operating performance
This is the worst piece of software ever created.
I challenge you to name another piece of software that shits the bed in so many different ways on so many different fronts that if you tried to list them all you'd go insane.
It's not good or even usable in some intangible way that can be justified by a niche. It's overpriced, bloated, slow, and infects everything it touches.
Windows is terrible.
