Its been 4 years since he started working at Oculus and still...nothing...Not even a peep of brilliance Hell, the only thing he's done in this time is become a convicted thief. Is he /done/?
he was done at the end of doom 3 and thats stretching it
>>61174659
He cares about whether he gets to work on interesting code. Just so happens that the interesting stuff he's been working on in recent years - VR - is a pointless flop, from a commercial perspective. I don't think he has any fucks to give about that though, he already has his garage full of Ferraris, he'll only do something different if he gets bored with it.
>>61174659
VR was always a forced meme and it's finally dead. People just don't want that shit, especially with those prices and extremely high requirements.

Anyone of you know how to do this? I got stuck at the distance thing.
Its c++
>Define a class called Point with x,y int coordinates, private variables of the class.
>Define 2 constructors, one without parameters that initiates with 0 the variables and another that lets the variables be initiated.
>Define a method called Distance that has the parameter refrenced to a point and returns a double value that is the distance between the parameter and the current object.
>Define an array of n<=5 objects with values different from origin of coordinates. Display the points' coordinates and the distance between the first and the other n-1 points.
>For display use own handlers which align to right in a field of 10 charachters, precision 2 decimals for fractional part.
What about it confused you? Just use the distance formula.
>>61174593
sure, all you have to do is aefine a method called Distance that has the parameter refrenced to a point and returns a double value that is the distance between the parameter and the current object.

Did I note this wrong cause it sounds so fucked up and maybe that's what I don't know what to do.
Installing macOS high sierra as we speak
Upgrading to APFS too
What am I in for the new fs?
Anybody has used it already on sierra or developer preview?
it's nice but there's really no difference desu

>still can't into BD on windows without paid programs
why can't freetards into bluray?
VLC works fine if you download and install the keys to break the encryption.
Only real issue now is UHD blurays.
>>61174529
>VLC
pukeArtifacts.gif
>>61174504
Requires a license for proprietary technology, so you can't have a free program that can run blurays without infringing on some laws, and even if they could, the author would still need to sell it to break even on license royalties.

That's a bit tight for modern distros. especially since some (Ubuntu does this) have a habit of keeping multiple kernels around. I'd give it 512MB. That's rather more than you strictly need but it's not a lot in absolute terms, and it'll ensure you don't have problems when a new kernel comes around. Especially since with a static /boot and an encrypted rest of the disk it's a pain to fuck with partition sizes after the fact.
Found a computer

Shove it up your ass, and then install gentoo.

Plug it in, see if it works. Check if there's anything on it.

Put it in your closet and don't touch it for four years. After the four years take it out to make it into a shitty NAS

Opinions about JavaScript as first language? It will stunt my growth as a programmer? Some people says that it teach bad habits, and this worries me.
I really do not like webdev, although I'm interested in other areas of programming. But that seems to be one of the most accessible fields of programming to jump in and make some money.
yeah.... no....
>being this useless
who the hell would recommends javascript for a first language first of all?
you either learn java or python now a days, and if youre not interested in webdev, fucking do not learn JS (BS) you should go for something more object oriented
anyhow, wtf are you doing in here in first place you noob scrub
fuck shit fuck
>>61174385
Well, maybe I did not express myself correctly. I said that although I do not like web development very much and prefer other fields in programming, at the moment it interests me because of the ease of entering that market.
