Zork bruh. Code a driver for the screen to display block characters, get the game source code, and display the output on the display as a rolling line of text.

But that's what smartphones do, they record everything you do and sell the data.

This is the primary function of a smartphone. The whole 'giving people access to the internet' and 'mobile computing' stuff is 2 and 3.

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2017-06-19-atari-back-in-the-hardware-business-with-mysterious-new-ataribox
>Atari is returning to console manufacture with a new contraption called Ataribox.

A teaser trailer for the Ataribox was released last week. It shows zoomed-in shots of what looks like wood panelling and a grooved plastic or metallic surface. In other words, like the Atari Video Computer System from the '70s and '80s.
https://youtu.be/5WNsmCpdhhY
>"We're back in the hardware business," Atari CEO Fred Chesnais told Gamesbeat.

Chesnais, the one and only, wouldn't say what what the Ataribox was but did say it was based on PC technology.

Perhaps the Ataribox will follow in the footsteps of the enormously popular Nintendo Classic Mini NES - a miniature, £50, emulated trip down memory lane.

Maybe if we are lucky enough Atari will take another jab at destroying the gaming industry so normies can leave and it can get the revival it deserves

it'll run steam os variant and be shit

Let me guess, it allows me to play all the old easily-emulated atari games for a lean price of $149.99 (not including games).

>distros still have fucking appstores

A god-damn five year old can install a deb or rpm file. It takes a maximum of 8 clicks.

I guess this also has to do with every distro creator's wet dream of becoming normie-tier. They want their distro to be "user friendly" and "innovative" (i.e a fucking smartphone)

It sickens me that I use the same kernel as people who download packages from appstores.

>go to introductory class for uni computer science course today
>Everything sounds okay except the lecturer going on about how he loves to code games and other appeals to youngsters
>We split off into smaller groups with a few current students giving us advice and answering questions
>They get us to write our names on tags
>Black kid gets the pen and blank stickers, writes his name on the paper under the stickers and rips it off
>current students have to show him how to do it properly
>Next guy asks a question about if we're going to be shown how to forward emails
>Final year Information Systems student is talking to us, mentions how he took coding as his minor
>I ask if programming is the same course as coding since that's what's listed in the booklet
>He doesn't understand
>I explain that "programming" is what's written on the sheet in the handout and ask if that's the minor he took
>He stumbles on his words and doesn't answer
>ask him what languages he's been taught
>"No, I'm not doing languages"
>Leave it for a few minutes
>Say "I meant programming languages. What programming languages have you been taught through the course?"
>Oh... Well... A bit of python in core units and then... there's a bit of python in the first semester...
>He trails off and then moves on to asking other questions

I've tried a few and though Puffin is probably the fastest I've used it's also the only one I can't seem to kill ads in.

Firefox is good but eats slightly more battery than Chrome. But if I could I'd rather not feed the botnet browser.

Have you guys got any recommendations?
