What's the best way to get home internet if you're a lazy faggot who lives with parents who restrict your internet access because you're too lazy to move out? I have money, but installing shit is not an option since my dad will get pissed.
For the past 2-3 years I've been relying completely on my neighbors xfinity wifi hotspot, buying month-long access passes, but the connection isn't stable anymore, and all portable hotspot plans I could find have ridiculous data plans that are only usable on a normiephone.

why do you insist on doing this to your phone?
I only carry an external battery when I’m on a trip.
I have that admittedly ugly Apple battery case on my iPhone 7 so I never really have to worry, I only charge my phone every other day.
Though I see a ton of people with them I swear permanently attached.
The only time I understand it is on trips or stuff like concerts where you are taking lots of videos.
>>61482783
>why do you insist on doing this to your phone?
maybe I wouldn't have to if phone makers weren't obsessed with reducing the battery size in the name of muh thinness
I don't trust random power sources, most especially direct USB outlets. (Yes I do set my phone to charge-only on USB. I'm still uncomfortable. USB killers are a thing.) It's much more convenient for me to bring my own when I need it and top it off once I'm back home.

which one of these is the best mechanical keyboard for programming?

Topre. 45gr.
If you cannot afford the real thing (Realforce, HHKB, NovaTouch), get a chink clone. Still better than CherryMX shit and clones.
>starts his own thread
>>61482637
Magic force is a good chink brand. The better question is which which you want, like you asked.
I would say Blues if you want clicky, clears if you want a nice blue feel that turns heavy when you push it down (bottoming out clears is not a good idea. I have strong fingers and it still fucks my shit up senpai), ot reds if you like smooth key travel. Greens are also like blues, but they're fucking heavy.
I would seriously suggest, however, posting this in /mkg/ because those autists there know more than me.

I have a PC that multiboots 10 different Server 2012 installs. Is there an application that will allow me to boot into another install from within the current active OS? I don't want to have to go through the BIOS or a manual restart to do this.

Virtualization?
>>61481836
>I have a PC that multiboots 10 different Server 2012 installs
Repeat after me, autism. a-u-t-i-s-m
>>61481853
It's a bit complicated but I can't use VMs since each Server 2012 is for testing customer setups and I need to make sure they work with connected peripherals as if it is running on-site. Virtualizing each server and doing connection sharing/pass-through on each would cause customers to reject the completed solution.

where can an individual obtain a good, affordable printer?
get the cheapest laser jet you can find
or - look on craigslist
set up a topic alert of slickdeals for a laser printer
Get a brother laser. Toner lasts forever, they let you disable the "low toner warning" to keep printing until it's actually empty, and you can buy cheap 3rd party replacements. I got mine for $80 canada bucks on sale.
How do you keep your battlestations dust free /g/?
What's the best way to clean and permanently limit the dust.
Clean your God damn room
Just cleaning it a few times a week. Get a good cloth for cleaning up dust. Vacuum room then leave it for an hour then wipe everything down. Less you spend in your room the better as dust is dead skin cells. If you can have breeze going through then do that with window open during day.

If you want help:
>Assemble your parts list

>List games/software you use often, as well as your monitor resolution + refresh rate

How to assemble a PC, select components & more (kind of outdated)

CPUs:
No i5 unless discounted
>G4560/G4600 - Budget builds (<$500)
>R5 1400 - Cheapest quad core you can get (Ryzen 3 soon)
>R5 1500x - Good but up to 1600 if you can
>R5 1600 - Best value for higher fps gaming / mixed usage; 1600x if you want higher stock clocks
>i7 7700k - Only for 144hz
>R7/Used Xeon/Threadripper - Compute/Multitask/VM/mixed use; Not for just gaming
GPUs:
Coin miners have driven price up and stock down, waiting to buy a GPU might be wiser
>Integrated CPU Graphics - Desktop stuff and very light games
>GTX 1050(Ti) - Lower end budget cards, drop settings on newer games, RX560 beaten by both
>RX570 - 1080p@60~hz maxed, running most maxed older games at 100~Hz
>RX580 and GTX1060 6GB - 1080p@80hz maxed, 1440p@60hz at lower settings; RX580 better in newer games
>GTX 1070 - 1080p@130hz /1440p@60hz at high
>GTX 1080 - 1080p@144hz / 1440p@60hz maxed, 4k@60hz in a few games; Probably the highest end card you need for 1080p/1440p
>GTX 1080Ti - 1440p@144hz and 4k@60hz maxed/high in many games
RAM:
>Check your Mobo QVL before buying any RAM
>Ryzen CPUs benefits a lot from high speed RAM
General:
ALWAYS LOOK AT PRODUCT REVIEWS!
Always consider an SSD. Try buying a large SSD for what you'd pay for your SSD+HDD combined, and add a HDD later
NVMe SSDs aren't for a faster OS boot, they're for productivity/scratch disk/VMs. NVMe and M.2 are not the same thing, M.2 is a form factor.
The Ryzen lineup comes with surprisingly good stock coolers. consider using them over any <$30 cooler.

How do you use this program? What is the learning curve?
I know people use this program to run prisma and colorization programs on auto.
But since I don't know how to use Github or understand the language I've been forced to do these things manually frame by frame.
