So, we've all seen the video of the "hacker" that puts his face on billboards in NYC, correct?

What if we could design that same tech to work on cash registers? Specifically, for lottery tickets being scanned. Imagine we change the cash register's screen to show that our losing ticket is a winner.

Could this work? Why or why not?

What's the best free, easy and simple to use data backup tool for my external hard drive? I basically want it to go like I choose a few folders, files and tell the program to back them all up to my connected external hard drive, that's it. There's too many programs out there that complicate it or do weird shit to the files, I just want basically an automated drag and drop program, if that exists.

Copy and paste your home directory. Not even kidding. That's how I make backups on Debian. I got tired of using dd and other retarded apps so I just started dragging and dropping files. I keep all of my themes and scripts and stuff in my documents directory, so those get backed up too.

I don't own a cellphone and don't know shit about them but was thinking about getting one just to play games on. Would I need a contract to play games on it or just a wifi connection? And what would be a cheap android 4.4 or higher?

Miners are still making profit, so probably not.
This will, at least, deter a lot of miners from continually invest in new GPUs so hopefully everyone else can actually buy some
>>
>>61304991
i am still making a killing even if the price is below $100

dont worry, no cheap gpu's before 2020.
>>
>>61304991
Still 1000+% in the green YTD, mining was profitable too last year, you know?
You will need an actual crash to kill the miners or Vega/Volta to absolutely wreck the shit out of Polaris/Pascal on efficiency (which Vega won't do according to everything known)

Define open source.
Radios are pretty much the definition of closed source.

I think there are Cable modems around with semi open hardware but they're very outdated.

You're better off getting something like an Edgerouter Lite, plus UnifiAP which run some ubuntu/debian like abortion you can at least modify yourself. XclaimWireless is another good brand, made by Ruckus.

You want "enterprise" level made routers and avoid consumer junk. The consumer grade shit has quite literally the worst buggy hardware.
