is neovim good? is it better than vim?
Hey. I need some assistance in a thing.
I am trying to make a solar powered dome light. I want it to be around 20 lumens, be powered by a single 18650, last through 10 hours of darkness, and be able to be fully recharged by solar with 14 hours of direct sunlight.
Is this feesable?
what type of components would I need?
Size of solar panel?
Why the hell isn't there a "ALWAYS keep folders on top"?!
Find a flaw
Back when mercurial was still a comparative alternative to git people used to develop nice gooeys and guides to help convince people to use git because they accepted that the cli was confusing to the uninitiated. Now that it has one no-one gives a fuck. It's a little sad.
I'm looking for a decent book about android studio in the spirit of k&r's if that applies. Anyway I'm a beginner, any suggestion empirical or not is welcomed. Thanks
>he still uses a flickering 60hz screen
lmao just throw your computer out of the window already
Let us discuss overclocks /g/. As anon is - historically - a fan of price vs performance overclocking is a great way for a cheaper part to perform akin to a more expensive model or squeeze next-tier performance out of an aging part.
So anons show me your overclocks - it doesn't matter if it is cpu, gpu or even ram show me that you are getting more performance than what you paid for.
Pic related - an oldish screenshot of my super-leaky 290x doing 1200mhz. It will run at this with the extreme air cooling I have but power draw is insane. I really should re-run the benchmark now I have a 1700 at 3.8ghz buuuut I can't get trixx to apply clocks properly (as it is the only software that deals with 1.4v out of the box) and frankly now that cpu per4fromance has increased its not worth the effort to overclock my gpu so far anymore.
so a display manufacturer makes a claim like
> supports 76.9% Rec 2020
how do you know that your graphics card will be able to output those colors? are we just assuming the graphics card can do 100% of any color gammut
anyone know how do i transform my webcam in a surveillance camera, that only save the video when it detect any motion?, to save storage space
Is there any real non-corporate use for email nowadays besides signing up for shit?
I don't think normies use this service to communicate anymore. It's all done through facebook, sms or whatsapp
I get emails from my bank, my country's tax department etc. So for personal stuff, it's useful. It's pretty much entirely replaced snail mail.
As for work, if it doesn't come in my inbox, I ignore it. Fuck calling me or talking to me on some lame chat. I reserve my right to be unavailable outside work hours.
>be in engineering school
>need the link to a google doc
>ask it to my group
>dude says "do you have Facebook so I can send it?"
>"you have my e-mail you dumb ass"
>"do you have Telegram? it's faster"
So this is probably not the board to do this on but fuck it
I bought a laptop not realizing that the damn thing only had an SSD and not a had installed with it. When I could have gotten the same laptop for the same price with an extra hdd.
Should I just take the loss and buy a new hard drive or bite the risk and resell
Two weeks after deadline and still nothing
