>Intel COMPLETELY Btfo.
>Saving consumer an additional $80-$100 without the need to get a CPU cooler
https://www.techpowerup.com/235244/amd-to-include-aio-liquid-coolers-with-ryzen-threadripper-processors
>In a move that could drown out the value proposition of competing Core X processors even further, AMD is reportedly including all-in-one liquid CPU coolers with its two upcoming Ryzen Threadripper processor models, the 12-core/24-thread 1920X and the 16-core/32-thread 1950X. While in its recent reveal of its first two Ryzen Threadripper SKUs besides Ryzen 3 series, the company did not specify the TDP of its Threadripper chips, older rumors pin the TDP of the 12-core part at 125W, and the 16-core part at 155W, both of which could run comfortably under liquid cooling. This won't be the first time AMD is bundling stock liquid-cooling solutions with its processors. The company bundled liquid coolers with certain high-TDP SKUs of its FX-series 8-core processors (pictured below).
>This, combined by the dearth of compatibility announcements by third-party CPU cooler manufacturers for its TR4 socket, could be forcing AMD to take steps to ensure that the first Threadripper owners aren't left without a cooler, more so in maturing markets. Intel's new LGA2066 socket, on which its Core X processors are based, didn't face this problem, as it shares its mount-hole spacing with older LGA2011v3 socket. According to the source, Threadripper could be available in Japan on the 10th of August. This could mean availability in the US from 9th August.

NO! INTEL IS STILL THE BEST CPU IN THE WORLD!!!!!!!!
AMD BTFO!!!!!
Daddy?
Post Leo's dick
Memes aside, is this shit actually being used to develop self-driving car technology? Who is actually benefiting from this?
>>61461437
>Who is actually benefiting from this?
Google. It is used to help train their AI. Whether it will be used in their self-driving cars is another thing.
They're using this to train neural networks to recognize certain elements in images. Since there's so many street signs, it's probably for self driving cars.

Just get a job at Google. I'm sure with your stellar intellect that should be no problem.
Hi guys, I've had a request from a businessman to purchase my Twitter account and I'd like to get rid. It's got 108,000+ legitimate followers on it, and is based on a movie franchise, posting quotes, pictures etc. How do I go about getting it valued? Any advice?
Go overboard. Its the only way.
Does anyone have any resources on getting mit/gnu-SCHEME running on an arm based computer? All I have to work with at the moment is a chromebook running linux in a chroot jail, and it's not x86. It'll take an assload of time to buid from portable C

anybody know of any font packages for condensing symbols that works with Vim/gVim similar to firacode?
This any good? Sorta full-stack web dev for a while now and I'd like to make some real software. I know a good amount of Java but I've associated it it work now and can't seem to enjoy it. Plus it feels kinda dated. Neckbeards at work told me to learn this, what do??
.NET is amazing but is hampered by poor cross-platform support. If you're using winshit and don't intend to run it on anything other than winshit then go ahead.
C# is an absolutely god tier language and the .NET APIs are among the best available, but the quality of third party libraries is spotty. If you need something that Microsoft doesn't already provide, you'll probably have to write a library yourself from scratch.
>>61458530
If you are a full-stack java web-dev it shouldn't be a problem for you to transition to C# .NET
That being said if you are a full-stack java web-dev why haven't you moved on to the new EZ webdev platforms like NodeJS, Django, etc. they are nice and worth learning.
Also, define real software. Do you mean truly develop, launch and maintain a full stack? build a high performance server backend? what?
I don't want to be Linux King, I want to be Linux GOD!
Cute stuff, kid. A/S/L

Nice blog
hey /g/,
i'm getting into computers and im fucking lost.
i'm having a real hard time wrapping my mind around what buses actually are, where they are, what they do, ect. i know this is a bare bones knowledge of computers, but i feel so stupid for not being able to understand this simple concept.
> What the heck is a bus?
> North side? South side?
> Hyperthreading, and Hyper Transport. What are they?
> I have heard that AMD does not have a NSB. Is this true?
> How do level caches fit into all of this? Do they?
> How, in the different architectures, does information travel through these buses? Is it half-duplex? Full duplex? What exactly is going on?
If this kind of question isn't allowed here let me know and I'll slink off somewhere else.
