What's /g/'s preffered software for windows activation? I got tired of that watermark at the bottom telling me to activate this shit.

Don't want to use random l33t_w1nd00z_actEEvat0r_by_x4x0r2002. , so what is the most trusted software for this?

Why don't the just fix this fucking shit? Give us title bars thin like Unity or KDE and a global menu instead of this shit. Gnome would be literally perfect. Is there anyway to fix this or am I stuck with it?

How can I hack a real code window like when the code is whizzing by and you type stuff in and more code whizzes by. I want to do real coding not just programming in visual studio.

Actual programmers, when faced with a task pretty much know how to do 90% of it structurally.

However, each line of code is generally reviewed in short sprints. Write a forloop, evalute it. Write a condition to handle a callback, test it. It's sort of a double check along the way kind of thing.

At no point in time should anything be flying by. Rather, quick chunks in short bursts. Any other way is quicker but prone to more errors.

Is it normal to find classes hard?

I did the self-learning thing but nobody wanted to hire me so I'm back in CS classes. I'm taking a 6 week summer course which is mad condensed (by definition) and I find it a little hard to keep up. I've practically failed both labs (though I got 100% on the homework) so I'm at around 85%. Is that acceptable (class average is 55%)?

The thing is I'm used to being the literal top of my class, back when I did a degree in linguistics, which pretty much requires you to be the best of the best to ever hope to get a job in the field. Can you be an average CS student and still be successful?

>>
Congratulations, you stopped playing on easy mode and moved up to normal. Most people at any proper university very somewhere near the top of their class so now the classes and lectures are tuned towards it.

And some places you can be a shitty CS student and still be successful. It depends a lot on your geographic location.

How do you guys secure delete files on an ssd? I was thinking (since i have a hybrid) to just delete all documents i want to erase and then filling the ssd card with data until it is full and spills over to the HDD. That way all the data on the ssd that was deleted gets written over. The only thing I don't get is why there's no article that explains this approach.

>filling the ssd with data
That doesn't work due to wear leveling.
I believe you're looking for something called fstrim.
>>
Well in your case, it seems pretty hard, because you dont seem to have direct access on the SSD part of your hard drive. Nethertheless, i would recomend to "nuke" your drive with DBAN, more than one pass wont be needed.

For the SSD Part, I would try to use GParted or partition magic. With it, you can in general use the ATA Secure Erase command to eradicate all data on a SSD
>>
>>61543869
fugg i just want to secure delete a bitcoin address but I guess i have to nuke it all. Thanks.
