>Gsync monitors still cost 2x the amount of a regular monitor with 144hz and 4k and everything
Why is Nvidia's head so far up its ass?
>>61611598
money -> marketing.
>>61611608
Yea but nobody buys Gsync shit
>>61611598
because they just werk.
Unlike freesync
>need a card with adaptive sync support
>monitor must support displayport 1.2a
>monitor must support adaptive sync because it is not mandatory
>not all displays support adaptive sync even if they have DP inputs.
Do you understand the problem with FreeSync?
The title says it all. What is the best way to work on a project between two PCs?
Alternatively, what is a better engine to do this?

Should ask >>>/vg/agdg, anyways if you are sharing assets too forget things like git and go for something svn-like. Perforce is widely used in the industry.
>>61611499
Setup a shared folder within the network and just work on separate classes and assets, then compile from time to time to test.
hi, about a month ago i start to be interested in Information Technology, and i wonder what are the best sources avaible for an amateur. thanks for help
>>61611426
>IT
be more specific
>>61611506
everything. but above all hardware and security.
>>61611426
Study A+ to understand hardware. Then Network+ gives you a few areas you can learn about, see what you like, then go from there. Personally, I took a networking course at my school and from that, learned I like security. Now I'm going for compsec
>>61611538
Alright, same plan, but from network + go to security +, CSA+, whatever Cisco has in this range. Follow the Comptia road map for certifications. Even if you don't take them, the books will kind of build as well as give a sense of progression.
hey /g/, do you know any good vpn that i could use? trying to look for one, but they all seem a little shitty

This.
Get a vps and host your own.
I provide vps's for people if you need one just email me at. [email protected]

Doesn't the VPS provider just get to see all your traffic?

How can you easily make a lot of money making a program like an app?
>>61611330
You can't. If it was easy, everyone would do it.
>>61611648
I see a lot of shitty apps though and they get millions of downloads
>>61611756
Either you develop something that fills a niche, which is pretty much impossible now since the mobile app market is saturated, or you get incredibly lucky and develop something that goes viral (flappy bird) or capitalizes on a fad (fidget spinner apps). The latter case is all about luck, and even then would provide a limited source of income since those types of things fizzle out.
Again, if it were easy, why would a developer work as a wageslave when they could sit at home making shitty mobile apps?

Kind of your fault for not sharing your interests. She probably doesn't even really have a clue what you really like besides "well he tinkers with that computer a lot!"

Share your shitty Windows experiences in here
>>61611092
I have zero bad experiences. However, I have had nothing but bad experiences using Linux and MacOS. Windows is the best operating system money can buy, and the botnet is fake.
>>61611193
I've never had a bad experience with either Linux or Windows but prefer Linux due to easier customizability. Though the botnet is real on Windows, is not really that impactful, at least to me.

PCI Express or USB?
>>61611038
depends on what you have and what you need
but i would say pci e since they're probably empty all the time otherwise
>>61611038
PCIe = Faster, less compatible
USB = Slower, more compatible

[Pic non related] Hey g i was looking to get into programming ( i want to be a web developer or maybe a game programmer / designer ) thing is i have no experince in code what so ever and i have weak math skills. I was wondering if you giys could tell mr if this is a good course for someone like me to take: http://www.senecacollege.ca/fulltime/CPD.html , Any help would be appreciated!!
Sorry for some typos. On mobile
You'll be passed over for people with actual CS degrees. Self study, or go to university. Don't waste your money on college (for any American anons reading, Canadian college is more like a vocational/tech school).
>>61611804
But i dont have any university prerequisites and dont have the money to pay for that. And how would a self taught be more saught out after than a college degree?
I did it /g/
I bought a macbook pro
It didn't have to be this way. Other manufacturers could have kept using 16:10, but they didn't
