This thread is for the discussion of NyaaPantsu (pantsu.cat), a free (FOSS) torrent indexer, and other nyaa alternatives.
The aim of this project is to write a fully featured nyaa.se replacement in golang that anyone will be able to deploy locally or remotely.

>Why is Pantsu down/error 502?
Most likely because the team is deploying changes. Wait for a bit and refresh the page. It should be mostly stable now.

Hey /g/.
I started a thread a few days ago about nostalgiac/retro PC hardware. It generated a lot of interest so I took some pictures of some of the old hardware I had that was easily accessible.
I picked up another load today, got it for a steal. Figured I'd share some pictures again.
Pic related is what I walked into upon arrival.
2nd pic of the hoard.
take those CRTs
burn the rest
Obviously these are newer but they caught my eye. There were 13 of these cases total. Some with P$ mobos & cpus but most were bare.

Since all the nu-commies expect to be able to get robots to do everything even though were a long way from getting them to even do most things, you probably won't be able to get rid of them unless you turn them all into machine learning or economics experts.
Austrian local media reported the unusual story of "Fanny", a sex doll which has become the top-selling superstar of the "Kontakthof" brothel in capital Vienna.
It left Austrian newspapers wondering what men see in Fanny, which costs 80 EUR (£71.60) for an hour to rent.
At the weekend, we revealed the first pictures inside a new sex robot factory making human-like dolls.
Online, Fanny introduces herself saying: "Hi! I am Fanny, a Japanese silicon doll."
According to the website, Fanny does not leave a single sexual wish unfulfilled as she is very flexible and can be put in any position desired by the customer.
Psychologist Gerti Senger explained why some men are more interested in sleeping with Fanny instead of real women.
Senger said: "First, the man can do anything with the doll. Second, every intention is turned off, which can be a factor with a prostitute."
Yet Senger, a co-chair at the Austrian Society for Sexual Research (OeGS), said that she was shocked by Fanny being more popular than real prostitutes and called it "a real autistic tendency".

No? This was the biggest performance hit on my browser for years. The majority of sites load with HTTPS by default anyway, even if you type "http" in the address bar.
literal bloat.
https is horrible on all levels. Just don't have a cuck isp, know what's on your network and you'll be fine.
What's the oldest piece of hardware you've got in your otherwise rather new desktop?
Pic related, it's an HD250HJ Samsung hard drive, rocking 10th year so far with no hiccups.

Should have replaced the 250 with the 320 regardless of age. HD322GJ has an incredible speed difference vs the 250.
>otherwise rather new desktop?
I don't have an otherwise rather new desktop, 2600k, motherboard and PSU are all the same age as the case.
>>61626188
Samsung SP2514N here, sill no bad sectors etc.
compared to many dead Seagate HDDs, especially fucking 3TB ones...
/g/ I'd like to hold a monitor census

>pros/cons?
please post all of your monitors
Dell U2212HM

1920x1080
60Hz
displaying shit
Acer
24"
1920x1080
144Hz (run it at 120Hz because games fuck up less)
It's a monitor, what do you think I use it for smartass?
Pros: It was cheap. It works fine. No "smart" features or built in speakers like my old monitor.
Cons: It was a bitch to calibrate. The monitor controls were a pain to use, I prefer digital ones like the one my television has which are much more user friendly.
>2 x Dell U2417H
>24"
>1920x1080
>60Hz
>Internet - Movies/Streaming - Ocasional game, 2 of them on each monitor at all times
>Good color reproduction / 60Hz, if you care about that shit.
But a purchase just as good to go with them was an Arctic Z2 stand. Released a lot of my desk space, and even though the USB hub is only 2.0, I'm using it a lot more than I thought I would. Anything that doesn't require 3.0 (mouse, keyboard, etc.) is connected to it and the back of the pc has a way smaller clusterfuck of cables. Shame I can only place the monitors side by side though, but ehh good enough for what I want.

# Scaler used when upscaling chroma (color information)
cscale=ewa_lanczos
# Scaler used when upscaling video
scale=ewa_lanczossharp

# Force video to lock on the display's refresh rate

interpolation
# Interpolation scaler
tscale=oversample
Notes: Remove cscale and scale if your computer isn't powerful enough.
Interpolation can also reduce framerate drastically.
Mpv uses software decoding by default.
You may want to enable hardware decoding using hwdec=auto or hwdec=auto-copy.
Note that it can lead to issues, depending on your video card.
Getting freezes under Windows?
Add
angle-flip=no
to your mpv.conf.
If MOUSE_BTN3 and MOUSE_BTN4 aren't working in your input.conf, try using AXIS_UP and AXIS_DOWN to control scrollwheel.
To get error logs, please add
log-file=log.txt
to your config file.
Then search the log for "dumb" anything or for [e].
